330ml bottle poured into a Newton glass by freshness date.
L:
Hazy pale yellow color, reminiscence of pineapple juice, small white head that quickly recedes and leaves average lacing, carbonation seems to be medium.
S:
Apple juice and yeast, barley malt is also there but just subtle.
T:
Sweetness in similar way to apple juice, it reminds me of apple juice with soda. Yeast is detectable but malt and hop are mute.
F:
Medium body with firm amount of carbonation, it summons vast micro-bubbles touching through palate, dry finish.
O:
Likely a juice not a beer, I personally like this but would it be better to pick real apple juice rather than apple juice beer?

S: Granny smith, some yeast
T: Granny smith, grains and some yeast, some bad apple too
M: reasonably thin, carbonation is fine, almost no alcohol
O: for a fruit beer, it's fine but it's still a bit sweet too my taste and i won't buy this one again

330ml Bottle
Appearance – Hazy pale yellow colour with a large size fizzy and frothy white coloured head. There is a high amount of carbonation showing and there is a decent amount of lacing. The head lasted for around 7 minutes before it was gone.
Smell - Grains, floral, green apples, cloves
Taste & Mouth - The beer has an average amount of carbonation. I can taste grains mixed with a lot of green apples and some lemon juice. I can also pick up on a bit of a clove spiciness. The beer finishes with a very sweet grainy green apple aftertaste.
Overall – I’m not a huge fan of green apples.. so even before I took my first sip I knew this wasn’t going to be a winner. However, it’s nice to try something new every now and then. It really does taste quite a bit like green apples and it deserves some points for that. Unfortunately it’s a little bit too sweet and I found myself struggling to finish the bottle. It’s worth a try but I suggest you split the bottle with someone else.

Very pale yellow or transparent. Very fragrant scents of apple skin enough so sour on the nose with a slight hint of hops. Body very light and sweet with touches of apple much more discreet than in the nose. No sweet taste but no acid. The taste of the Witbier is nonexistent, it is thought to lager without character or taste. Finish without bitterness, just a slight reminder of the taste of apple. In short, bland beer.

A- Finger of head, recedes quickly, but leaves a good deal of lacing which doesn't overstay its welcome.
S- Smells identical to apple cider, with some yeasty tones.
T- No hop sensation. Some initial malty wheat taste which is rapidly dominated by a watered down apple cider mid- to after- taste.
M- Pleasant creaminess, zero fizziness due to lack of any noticeable carbonation.
D- Way too close to juice (watered-down apple cider) to be mistaken for a beer experience. With no bitter hop flavor to offset the sweetness of the apple flavor, and no carbonation, this beer is synonymous to a wine cooler.

A - The appearance of the bottle is bright green like a neon light. With an uber EU friendly multi-lingual label. Pours at least a good finger of head that dies quickly, and had strong lacing that clung to the glass much harder than one would think for a beer of this fruity nature. Pours a cloudy white yeast mud color.
S - Sour apples and yeast, you can almost imagine a faint hop smell coming through, but it probably isn't. There is a sugary glazed donut smell that creeps in at the end too.
T - Sugary sour taste. The mild yeastyness of bread dough that's waiting to rise. These both are flavors you'll find, but the overwhelmingly dominate flavor is that of sour apple Jolly Ranchers. It's a simple flavor. There is no bitterness or beer-flavor.
M - Fruity, bubbly at the beginning, that fades to a sugar coating. To me it felt just like I'd let cotton candy dissolve in my mouth.
D - This is drinkable. Sweet, sour, fruity. The style says Belgian pale ale, but this is definitely not what I think of when someone says, "pale ale."

Poured a cloudy pasty yellow with a frothy and good sized bleached white cap. Nose of freshly squeezed apple juice and funky yeast, some straw.Tastes of sweet apple at first, and led to a sour crab apple funk, with a bit of unwelcome diacetyl. Finished sweet, but balanced and fairly drinkable.

Bottle: Poured a yellowish ale with some white hue and a medium bubbly head with limited retention. Aroma of apple doesnt appear to be too faked though I suspect there is very little real apple in here as opposed to some artificial flavouring. Taste I refreshing with some apple sweetness and a good Belgian witbeer base. Definitely not a beer that I will be looking for again in the future but not as gross as some other fruit beer out there.

Best before 16-12-2005. Poors in without too much of a head. Beercolor is yellow and very clouwded.
Nose is not much beerlike and mostly applejuice. Have to say not artificial but quiet fresh. Some malts to be noticed but they're actually quiet oxidated. Taste is mostly applejuice too, with that oxidised maltyness and hardly any bitterness. The present acidnote make taste and mouthfeel litle more plesant but not my kind of beer.

As mentionned, the appearance of the beer is very good. Huge foamy head lies on a murky hazy yellow ale.
Aroma of faint caramel and a huge dose of apple must. Flavor of overripe lobo apples. Sharp perfume flavor as well, un-invinting.
I think the 3c - 6c serving temperature suggested by Brasserie Lefèbvre needs to be respected to cloak the sourness of the apple juice that seems to be blended with the brew (did you ever drink warm apple juice? try it, you will understand). When chilled, this brew is refreshing, different.

Appearance might be the best thing about this beer: slightly hazy golden color body with some green notes. Smell is skunky, aromas of apple juice, with some fresh aspects. Taste is very sweet apple, apple juice, nothing too exciting, but not too bad either. Hints of fresh yeast. Mouthfeel is weak, fizzy beer. Whatever.

Looks are good for this beer: cloudy, chalky yellow, with sticky, compact foam. Smell was unexpected: with sweet apple and worty hops and something of dirt and dust--really not so pleasant.
The taste is a milky apple, a little sweet. Thin taste, cleanish finish, afternotes of citrus. Light body and weak, watery carbonation.
I could imagine a far better apple beer than this.

High marks on appearance just for ingenuity. Cartoonish radioactive uranium yellow, hazed to the point of looking like a yellow foam. Middling head. A chunk of a mysterious unidentifiable substance clings to the interior of the bottle. While I'm normally a fan of unfiltered product, I think I'm glad this one stuck inside.
The flavor of this is just absolutely overwhelming -- in a sort of bad way. Apple-flavored bubble gum or hard candy. Sweet with little to no balance. If there were some sort of harsh tartness on the backend, this might be intriguing. As it is, it's been voted Most Likely to Be Rejected as a Kool-Aid Flavor. Cloying, sticky, and gross.
I only drank half the bottle then abandoned this project.

Ingredients: barley, malts, hops, apple juice
Fine bubbles, no head. Aroma of apples and malt. Opaque bright yellow color. Tastes of apple and that is it. Nothing else. No bitterness or hoppy aroma. This is not beer, this is fuzzy fruit juice. This is sweet and weak apple juice.
