Poured from pint can into a goblet. This pours a clear light yellow color with a large but short lived white head. The smells are crisp fruity, light citrus with a few spices. The feel is medium with tingly carbonination. The taste is light also but decent a little wheat, some sourness, a little citrus but all crisp and light, not bad but I prefer a slightly bolder beer.

Recommended by my local beer guy and a brew that has always intrigued me.

A- Poured out of the tall can into a tulip for appearance purposes. Pours with a clear pale yellow body. Some further inspection reveals big chunks around the beer but no haziness. A foamy white cap forms with countless tiny air pockets giving it a silky texture. Head retention is good and a few nice webs of lace stick to the glass.

S- Banana and coriander jump out and are the most prevalent aromas for me. Lemon and orange zest adds some tart feel as well as a nice citrus hint. Some peppercorn and sweetness.

T- Decent balance between a few key flavors that really jump out to me. Peppercorns, coriander, orange juice/zest, banana and some cracked grain sweetness. The spice flavors truly pop out and add a good dimension to the flavor. Kind of reminds me of a lemony cake.

MF- Light body with a tolerable sweetness to it. Carbonation is at a moderate level and foams up nicely on the palate. Tiny herbal bitterness in the finish.

Lots of spice flavor in this one with peppercorn, coriander and citrus making up the main taste. Not bad but a bit unbalanced and thin feeling.

Served from a 330ml bottle into a tall pilsener glass

A: Very dense white head towering about two fingers tall. Retention was good as was lacing. The beer itself was mild in clarity and white/ light straw in color.

S: Coriander with a touch of citrus.

T: Coriander, cloves, and citrus , mainly lemon rind, are present but not very bold. The beer is fairly watery and doesn't have much strength in my opinion. As the yeast is poured in the beer takes on a little bit more character and a certain breadiness, or yeastiness, typical of belgian styles begins to appear. Subtle delicate malts are also available to the palate.

M: Crisp and refreshing. Bready malts linger on the tongue after consumption.

O: Nice refreshing summer beer. Not the best Wit i've had but I would feel at home sessioning a few of these on the porch.

On tap in Belgium this beer of course reminds you of a typical Belgian Wit. Light yellow with that unfiltered cloudy appearance. Aromas of wheat and definitely orange peel. Similar taste with the only distinguishing feature of this one is it is a little hoppier than most. I like the style but nothing exciting stands out with this brew.
