Bomber split with the bro.
Opaque black, with some floaters visible around the edges of the glass and a coffee colored creamy lace.
Soft aroma overall, with hints of chocolate, herbal mint and some bread. Faint roastiness. Unique aroma.
Creamy palate, medium body, crisp carbonation. Roasty upfront, slightly acrid, with notes of coffee and a hint of sour. Interesting minty flavor, with a chocolate maltiness and biscuity dryness. Chalky here and there. Some grass and mild astringency beneath. Bitty feel towards the drying finish, that turns pithy, coarse, and astringent with a hay character.
Interesting and definitely on the extreme end of the style, but the astringency kind of builds on this one and make it a bit of a one-pinter. Worthy a try.

22 brown bomber.
Can't we call this something other than a "Black & Tan"? At least there are no green shamrocks on the label.
Sediment again, thankfully its dark enough we are not looking for clarity here. Not sure where there is huge chunks of sediment here as I left a good three inches of beer in the bottle. Nearly black in color with a beautiful tan lacing.
A little roasted and chocolate, a bit of citric and herbal in the aroma from the malt and hops respectively. Very smooth with a slick medium body. Roasted and chocolate flavors are forced to mesh with the citric and herbal minty tone from the hops. Surprisingly it works. Perhaps a tad as astringent but the malt sweetness is strong enough to keep it balanced. Mildly acrid in the finish with a wet burnt note and lingering citric hop.
Not bad at all, complex and reminds me of the many blends I have concocted over the years. One pint did me just fine.
