Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a pint glass

The beer has a light brown color, but has a deep appearance that makes it difficult to see through without being cloudy. The head is over an inch thick and has a creamy, inviting appearance.

The hops and fruit aromas predominate the nose.

Unfortunately, the taste is fairly plain. Not nearly as much flavor as I would expect from the aromas.

A clean, crisp mouthfeel that seems lighter than expected for an ale. There is very little afterfinish.

Overall a pleasing beer, but is different from type for your typical ale.
