This quaint shop is tucked away in Solon's municipal district, but easily accessable and close to the uptown shopping center. It's located on a side streeet just off of S.O.M., but easy to miss. Once you've found the entrance, you'll be glad you sought this little gem out.
The place has more of a wine cellar vibe to it than a liquor store; though there is about as much beer as wine or spirits. There is a picture of the beer section on their website, but what you might not be able to see, is that the interesting brews are on the wooden shelves on the far walls, and on display racks.
The store appears well-maintained and freshly stocked. You'll find empty 6-pack carriers in a box on the floor- as they encourgae you to make you own. Unfortuantely, the price remains whatever is maked on the bottle. Bombers and 750's from Alesmith, Stone, FFF's and other heavy hitting american breweries are frequent. The requeset Chimay and Unibroue displays are present, but there are a number of other belgian imports, including one or two Trappists.
The staff are very approachable and accomodating. Didn't seem too interested in the beer, but someone there must be to stock the selection they carry. Decent prices as well.
Comfortable environment, not too expensive, and over 125 beers to choose from. Best place in Solon to shop for beer.

I have worked in the Solon area for over a year now, and just recently discovered this place. It has more a focus on wine and their service-while very friendly- does not really know anything about the beer- unless you actually catch the guy whose stocking the beer selection. They have a nice selection of Belgians and bombers- both cold and shelf. Also well mixed array of American craft and imports. I am a liitle leary of the age of some of the beers on the shelf. They look to have quite a bit of SN Bigfoot still in stock from the previous year. Which is nice since it is one of my favorites- but also concerns me about rotation for some of the stuff that can't keep as well as Bigfoot.
