Made with the malt base of Crooked Tree IPA and hopped with Cascade, a classic American hop. This beer is much more on the citrus, or “grapefruit” side of what IPA’s have become known as in American Craft Brewing.

A- poured 12 oz into tulip. Pours slightly hazy with a single finger head
S- sweet bready hops, earthy, some citrusy fruit, some cucumber
T- lots of sweet hops. Breads, bubblegum, again some cucumber and citrusy fruit, I get a hint of lime in the after taste too
M- as expected for an ipa
O-my favorite of the single hops. This was very refreshing, bready, earthy, not very fruity but the perfect hop bite. Lots of crisp flavors, quality in simplicity

Bottled 6/29/14; drank 7/25/14 @ the Yarchives.
Semi-opaque clear orange hue.
HUGE off-white head; frothy, tree-rung lace.
Honey, orange citrus & mild caramel nose.
Thin mouthfeel.
Bread, honey, slight ham & mild citrus flavors ; this goes down O.K. but produces an unpleasant aftertaste.
Drinkable but uninspired.

Appearance resembled unfiltered apple cider. Aroma is fruity with caramel. Some interesting tea flavors here, with a hint of apple spice. It's bitter, especially toward the end, but the hops just don't don't pop like an IPA should.
