Let me 1st say I love BCS so this will be a challenge to beat that. I had this on draft at Local Option last night.
A - This is jet black with a gaggle of small bubbles floating on the top.
S - there is vanilla and chocolate as well as a definite bourbon scent and caramel.
T - Awesome bourbon and chocolate taste that mellows and then drifts off nicley
M - full bodied with little if no carbonation.
O - HUGE SUCCESS! Bcs has competition! I am gonna have another before it's gone

Had this beer on tap at the local option. I was told that it is plead the 5th aged in woodford barrels.
Plead the option is pitch black with a short khaki head composed of bigger bubbles. There are a couple spots of lacing, but not much. Aroma is big bourbon with coconut and a bit of vanilla. There is also a bit of caramel and cocoa. Flavor is a bit sweet with more caramel than the aroma, oak, vanilla, and again a lot of bourbon. The mouthfeel is medium full and pretty smooth. Nice carbonation level. Very nice surprise at the local option.

On-tap at Local Option into a snifter.
A - Pours black, small bubbles, no cap, no lace.
S - Hot booze, chocolate, astringent alcohol, coconut, oak. So hot and boozy, it's hard to get past the huge alcohol in this beer...really too hot to enjoy.
T - Very boozy, oak, chocolate. Hard to really get much else besides a boat-load of booze...way too hot.
M - Medium, syrupy, creamy oak finish.
O - Too hot at the moment and needs some more time to age before I'm really able to enjoy this one. Not horrible, but just above average. Maybe they'll sit on a keg for future consumption, who knows. At this time, too much booze. Not near as good at Plead the 5th or Plead the Option.

On-tap at Local Option. Served in a snifter.
A - Looks black, oily, viscous, and still. When I got it any foam had already dissipated, leaving behind nothing - no collar, lace, wisps, etc.
S - Smells like Woodford Reserve. Tons bourbon, vanilla, toasted coconut, oak, dark chocolate cake, and alcohol. Seems boozier than standard Barrel Aged Plead the Fifth, with less of the dark roasted grain character.
T - Taste is intensely sweet, with tons of caramel, chocolate, sugar, vanilla, and malted, roasted barley. There's plenty of oak character, and some overt sour mash bourbon and alcohol flavor in the finish. Again, it's much boozier - not bad, but grows fatiguing very quickly.
M - Minimal carbonation, tons of warming alcohol. Heavy full body, that is sludgy, oily, syrupy, and slick in the finish.
D - Tough to drink a lot of this - I had about 6oz and kind of gave up on it. I think they should throw the rest of this keg in a dark corner in the basement and revisit it some time in the New Year. Perhaps it will also carbonate a bit in addition to mellowing out.

Served at Local Option's Mucho Chingon event.
A: Completely opaque black, very little head to speak of, only a middling ring of quickly fading khaki.
S: Boozy, sweet chocolate. Some vanilla with a slight smoky undertone.
T: Above average, but thin--both in flavor and mouthfeel. Sweet, boozy maltiness dominates. Chocolate and bourbon are there, but definitely secondary. Good, not great.
M: Definite evidence of a barrel-aged beer thinning out here. Unspectacular, and takes away from the beer as a whole.
O: Quite good, but not great. Compared to BA Plead the Fifth, this is underwhelming. Compared to other excellent BA stouts, this isn't worth pursuing. Glad to have tried it, but nothing to regret missing.

A - jet black with just a smattering of bubbles siting on the surface.
S - some toast, vanilla and chocolate pudding powder. Definite bourbon, caramel and toasted bread.
T - weird flavor from the woodford barrel that I can't pick out. Not a ton of sweetness and a bad acrid bitternessthat doesn't go away. Bourbon lingers as well
M - full bodied with no carbonation. Tons of heat that burns and burns...
O - not a huge fan of the base, but the woodford made it even worse. The more drink the less I like it. May be better in a year but not surethe flavors are working.

A - Black beer that had no real head. Nothing left on the sides of the glass. Completely opaque.
S - A lot of heat and whiskey on the nose. A little cocoa powder and some molasses. Little bit of roast.
T - Not nearly as good as BA Plead the Fifth. It's very hot, with the Woodford Reserve coming through way to strongly. Alcohol leaves a bit of a sour taste. Some chocolate comes through and a little bit of roast. Way too much heat.
M - Starts our a little thin, but is fine. Moderate carbonation.
O - More I drank, the less I liked it. Too much heat, flavor average.
