The beer pours a beautiful red color with little head to speak of. The aroma is very nice. It has a refreshingly tart raspberry scent with a faint hint of Belgian funk. The fruit aroma is outstanding. It's sour, but not overly so. The taste is good. It has a smooth, fruity flavor that's sweet up front and tart in the finish. The sour funk is pretty tame for a lambic. The mouthfeel is fine. It is a medium/full bodied beer with adequate carbonation. This is a damn good beer. I'm a sucker for sour raspberry beers anyways, but this one is quite good and highly drinkable, even at 9% abv..

I poured for these guys during the NOTB. Great guys all around. Excellent beer. This was aged for 4 years in oak with fresh fruit added in. It was also spiked with the dregs from "one of the jolly pumpkin beers" Also this is 9% not the listed 10%. Also it is a lambic. Or better yet a lambdick.
A: Very clear bright red color. No head at all. Visible carbonation.
S: Nice bright fruit up front. A little bit funky without ever becomming overwhelming. A touch of lacto as well.
T: Just like the nose. The fruit is getting worn down and the bugs are starting to take over. Nice amount of lacto without ever becomming overwhelming. The fruit hits your tongue first giving a nice amount of sourness. Then it goes into a nice funky lambic and finishes sweet.
M: Super light and refreshing.
D: I took a few samples before pouring and asked the guys "This is good what is it around 4.5%?" My mind was blown when they told me it was 9. Insanley drinkable with no hint of the ABV at all. Excellent beer.
Thanks Bryan for being cool and not pressing charges.

I had this from a tasting glass at NotB.
The beer pours a dark clear red, almost like a pinot noir with a light pink head that doesn't have much carbonation.
The aroma is light, a little sweet raspberries and a bit of funk at the end. Its balanced between the two which is nice, but not strong enough to really wet my palate.
The taste reminds me of cranberry juice, a little sweet to start then just a bitter tartness to it. I love sour and tart but this isn't in the form of a wild ale tart, but fruit tart which isn't a nice distinction. I can taste no alcohol which is probably good since its a 10% beer, but a little would be nice to break the bitter.
The feel is super light with a dry finish.
Overall, it was ok, nothing special, needs a lot of tweaking.
