Poured from a bomber into a pint glass
This was the first beer I had on my buddy and I's bomber night.
A- Dark deep wood color, not quite opaque but getting there. Backlight showed some ruby characteristics, but burgundy was the more dominating color. Thick khaki head stood proud atop this beer and stayed for quite some time.
S- A bit more subdued than I would have expected from stone, malt, and coffee are the main nose notes with a faint hint of the smokiness.
T-Ahhh now this is more like it. Malt, caramel and chocolate take the forefront, but the dark fruits, slight hops, and nice smokey finish allow for it to be a pretty dang good tasting beer.
M-Medium bodied, creamy, with a light carbonation
D-Very drinkable, almost too drinkable, that bomber didn't last me nearly as long as I was hoping
