Had this on tap at the Stone World Bistro and Gardens. Dark hazel brown with a thin head.
Roasty aroma is soft and subtle.
Taste is very restrained but does not lack complexity. All the coffee and chocolate flavor that you would expect. Slight smoky touch in the finish. No metallic twinge, which I often dislike in porters and stouts. Smooth clean flavor all the way through.
Light mouthfeel for a porter. Very fresh feel.
Easy to drink but still a bit filling.
