Pours a dark chestnut body, with a bit of haze to it and a nice creamy tan head on top, albeit a bit thin.

Sweet and caramely upfront on the nose. Good bit of oak notes, with hints of vanilla and fruit. Hops have faded a bit and leave just a hint of their former self with some piney and citrus notes.

Nice and bold upfront, with the oak really coming through alongside a strong malt body. Toffee and brown sugar sweetness and some bourbon-like vanilla sweetness make for a pleasant sipper.

Mouhtfeel is smooth and well-rounded with a rather heavy feel. Overall, OakedAB presents you with a tasty and bold beer with wonderful oak notes and it doesn't come with the Barrel-Aged price tag.
