This is the beer geeks IPA. It's a hop punch combination to the face, with jabs of sweet and grass followed by a haymaker of bitterness. A slightly reddish hazy beer with medium, full body and pleasant carbonation. For me it's hard to really make out any of the malt characteristic as the hops are such an affront to my taste buds, but there is some sweetness from the malt and it clearly makes up the body of the brew.

I can drink a couple of these in a session, but then it just ruins my palette for any beer that doesn't pack the same wallop as this.

Poured chilled in standard ale glass

A: dark orange; very little head; carb is good, but the bubbles are inert; little lacing
S: very hoppy, lively; aroma lasts quite a while; promises much in the way of hops
T: sweet, intense IPA; quite lively; strong in the finishing hops
M: viscous, thick mouthfeel

This is an amazing IPA, but to be had only on occasion, because of the intensity
