This one pours a light bodied, very clear bright orange gold in color with a soapy, off white one finger head. The clarity is great. The nose is very fresh, pungent. It has notes of light pine, slightly oniony Nelson, maybe some Simcoe, maybe some Centennial and has a light and clean malt bill. It's just really clean. The flavors too, very clean. The pine and onion are in proper ratios, favoring the light pine significantly. There is also a nice bitter citrus character. It drinks very, very light in body and is quite sessionable for both the style and abv because of this. This is a really nice DIPA. The price was certainly right on this. I like this idea, force feeding freshness is very effective. Well done Stone, well done.
