Appearance: Very light orange, looks nice and malty

Head: Small white head

Smell: Light citric with a sweet malty backbone

Taste: Big hop, almost of a tropical fruit with a heavy malt notes

Weight: Light to medium body with low carbonation

Finish: Big citric sticks around forever and stickiness on the lips

This might be the best beer that has ever hit my palate!

Scored at brewery one week ago.

Nice honey amber ale wit ha couple fingers of soapy white foam and gauzy lace. Excellent clarity. Nose is grapefruit, peppercorn, honey, pine, a hint of mango and some resin. Flavor is nice and bitter with a solid biscuit malt profile and some nice resiny flavors. There is a bit of tangerine and pine in here as well. Medium bodied with moderate carb and a wet, yet cloying finish. Nice beer.

On tap at the Better Weather Fest at Golden Road Brewing in Los Angeles, CA.

Pours a hazy honey orange with a foamy bone colored head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, citrus fruit, and citrus zest. Taste is much the same with a slight herbal hop flavor on the finish. There is a medium hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very good beer that is tasty and easy to drink.

I had this on-tap at Max's. Poured into a standard pint glass.

Appearance: Pours a clear golden amber color with a half finger of white head that fades to a ring around the edge of the pour.

Smell: Fresh citrus peel hops that are mildly grassy. Slightly sweet from the malt with a mild, fruity undertone.

Taste: There is a strong hop punch right off the bat. Grassy with some grapefruit peel in the bitterness. There is a bready, slightly sweet malt note that backs up the hops. The finish is very bitter and slightly floral.

Mouthfeel: Medium body with fluffy carbonation and a dry finish.

Overall: This beer was incredibly easy to drink. I could have put them down all night. The floral note along with the hops was very nice. Definitely a treat to try this beer.

Growler poured into a pint glass.

Beautiful orange/amber color with three fingers of fluffy white foam. The head subsides leaving delicate lacing on the glass. The nose is huge citrus. Fresh orange blossom and mango predominate. Taste follows the nose with flavors of orange, tangerine and grapefruit forward. A biscuity malt profile melds seamlessly with the hops making for a nicely balanced beer. Orange peel bitterness takes over on the back end. The finish is dry with a bitter aftertaste that lingers a bit. Feel is medium. Carbonation lends a creamy quality to the beer. Overall this is a really enjoyable brew from Stone. I prefer it to the unleaded version which is available everywhere. If you see this one on tap order a pint and enjoy!
