Bottle dated 9-12-16. Bell's wheat glass.
A: this one was a gusher. I got a 24 ounce glassfulnof thick, foamy head. Once that receded, it was a hazy copper orange with some sediment and wispy seams of tiny bubbles flowing up to chunks of leftover bone white head. Lacing is chunky, retention excellent.
S: wheat and clean. Not getting much in the way of dry hops, but it's pushing 10 months old.
T: slightly sweet and hoppy arrival. Wheat and citrus peel mid palate turns to a pretty hoppy and slightly phenolic end. Lingering classic American hops.
M: lighter side of midweight, slick, with less carbonation than I would expect for the style and from its appearance.
O: When I first moved to Columbus, Elevator and CBC were the only two local beers you could find in bottles. I had this and liked it, though not as much as Oberon. I'd still say the same is true, but this is a good, hoppy American wheat, and arguably Elevator's best beer. Having it now after having 400+ other beers, and still liking it at 10 months old makes me want to try it on draft.

Surprisingly not wheats with just the right hoppiness. Perfect summer beer. Crisp n clean.

I taste nothing but yeast. I taste no dry hopping or wheat flavor. Could be greatly past its date, but none evident on the bottle.
