An interesting location. It is in the basement of a building on eighth avenue. Has kind of a castle dungeon feel. The beer is displayed in a vault off the main room. Bottles and brands are individually showcased. I have found a few rare beers here but in general it is not a location to search out. I am even surprised that it is listed in BeerFly. My best score here was a large selection of Brew Brothers Garlic Pils that was hotly pursued by a trader/chef in Ontario. I will stop by if I am walking by but will not consciously search out the store.

Definitely more of a wine & spirits store, however they do have an ok selction of some belgians and other euro brews. The layout of the store is nice, and it's great that all of the beer is kept under low light and in a chilled room seperate from the rest of the store. Not the first place to shop for beer in Calgary, but the main reason I check this place out every now & then is the decent selection of glassware at a reasonable price. Great trappist glasses, such as Orval & Leffe as well a large selection of Ritzenhoff glasses (not so reasonable).
Overall if you're in the neighbourhood it's worth a stop, and I've always been pleased with the service.
