Poured into 10oz glass. Poured a clean, clear, slightly golden copper color with about an inch of of white head that had very good retention and lacing.
The aroma was fairly typical for the style, a well balanced blend of mat and hops, without any feature dominating over another. On the tongue the beer keeps that balance. Some soft, grainy malts at first, a bit of malt sweetness in the middle and a gently tangy hop finish.
The body was typical, medium and smooth. Drinkability was pretty good, a 22 went down easy. Overall, a nice little brew that would probably make a great introduction to craft beer for a newcomer, and a solid, dependable, easy drinker for the rest of us. Certainly worth trying.
