First had: on tap at the Farmers' Cabinet, Philly, PA
lol It's not really pink, but rather uses Brazilian pink pepper as an ingredient. More of a hazy peach color in the pour, with a thin wispy head that didn't display much retention but left a bit of lacing on the glass. Grapefruit dominant in the nose, with lesser notes of peppery spice and a soft hops. Like the aroma, there is a definite grapefruit theme in the taste, mellowing out a bit to more of a white wine, giving way to a bit of spice and bitterness and even a dry leafiness near the end. On the lighter end of medium-bodied, appropriate prickly carbonation, and quite nice overall. Oh my wallet.

A: Pours a slightly cloudy glowing golden orange in color with moderate to significant amounts of visible carbonation along with some light amounts of small dark sediment particles near the bottom of the glass. The beer has a three finger tall creamy off-white head that slowly reduces to large thick & creamy patch with a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: There are aromas of pale malts with a hint of bready malts. After that, there is a moderate strength presence of hop aromas - mostly grapefruit/citrus with a lighter note of floral. Finally, the smell finish with a light hint of peppery spiciness.
T: This beer starts out with the moderate flavors of pale and bready malts which is then followed by the flavors of the hops - grapefruit/citrus and lighter amounts of floral and herbal. There is a light presence of the spiciness of pink peppercorns in the finish.
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Smooth and slightly creamy.
O: This is an interesting beer, a little more malty than I like my IPAs and the hop presence is a little too light. I had high hopes for the spicy characteristics of the pink peppercorns but the aroma and flavor contributed is nominal. Glad that I tried it but I likely won't pick it up again.

A hazy murky straw colored brew, a frothy head that leaves much lacing, some curtains.
Smelling weakly of nuts, apricots, lemon zest.
Starting sweet sugary, ripe grapes, bitter orange zest.
Low carbonation, smooth and slightly sticky, a medium body and dry finish.
Well, did not find any peppers, a rather modest IPA.

A: Pours a golden colored liquid into the glass. I can find some pink tones in the liquid as well. The liquid is very hazy and it is not possible to see through even in a small glass. The head is pale white and thick at first but then goes down to about half a finger's hight.
S: Smells spices, lots of pink pepper corns, hay and alcohol at the end.
T: It tastes a lot of wheat at the first sip. It is followed by spices like koriander, dried oranges and mandarins. The pink pepper takes over towards the end together with some really nice almond. The aftertaste is slightly bitter. Complex and nice!
M: I found this one to be fairly hard to drink. I can only take small sips of it. It feels very floury. Medium carbonation.
O: The beer wins on its complex taste. I had this one in a small brandy bowl. This is not a beer that I could drink lots of, so having it in a small brandy bowl is perfect.

This poured out as a murky looking pinkish gold color, it had a white head on top also. The smell of the beer was a little bit earthy with some herbal spice notes and some hops in there as well. The taste of the beer was bitter with some muddy earthy pepper flavors in the faint distance. The mouthfeel of this beer is on the lighter side, it's well carbonated and pretty drinkable. Overall it's not a powerful IPA at all but either way it's an interesting beer. If you have the money, I'd say give it a try.

375 ml bottle.
Pours a cloudy light golden with a big foamy white head that lasts.
The smell is pretty fricken good. Just super sharp ruby red grapefruit and some pink pepper.
The flavor is pretty good but not spectacular. It could be due to freshness (I dk how old the bottle is, it seems decently fresh). It has notes of pink pepper, sage, pine, and some grapefruit rind, but it is more spicy and herbal than fruity like it was in the smell. Bitterness is mild. The mouthfeel is a bit thin.
10.49 for a bottle of this... I can guarantee you it is not worth it, it is a good beer though.

Pours a cloudy, pale orange colour, quite translucent with off-white head - a nice and irregular thin, dense crown left behind, but sparse bubbles remaining clinging to the glass as well. Looks alright, yeah.
Smell is fairly sweet and stiff, with brown sugar underlying, but a distinct note of citric hops and some ale esters of fresh apple and orange flesh as well. bit piney, but mostly fruity, can't say it's really appealing.
Taste is more interesting but not in a good way. Starts off grainy - caramel and a touch of pearl barley - develops more fruity, apple-esque ale ester flavours and then just goes nuts with sour notes, but also a big bready yeast character to dry it up. Notes of underripe apple, peach and apricot come through late. Ultimately ends with an off bitter note, that's indicative of too much early hopping but also just the wrong balance of flavours there. It becomes intense and not very pleasant.
Body is alright, bit of texture gives an alright feel as it goes down.
Not sure where it fits into the style and while I think adding pepper to an IPA sounds like a fine idea, it certainly misses the mark here. Tastes like sour beer gone wrong.

Bottle from Premiere. Peppery nose, with mild hops. Spicy more than hoppy, and an excellent drinking beer. Simcoe, Nelson Sauvin and Hallertau hops, making it white wine like. Novel mix though not worth $13 for a 375 ml.Suable carbonation. Have to seek these guys out again, hopefully through an Italian beer tasting.

Purchased from K&L Wine Merchants in Redwood City, CA. Brought back to Australia and opened with @LaitueGonflable. It looked a particularly interesting brew, and having tried some Revelation Cat beers, I was interested in Italian craft brew.
Pours a very cloudy hazy golden brown colour, with an intense and rocky white head, that forms decent patchy lace. Body is very light and fluid, almost like water, but the head is solid and coherent enough to stick around through movements underneath it. Looks decent.
Nose is pretty generic. Slight hop character, with a touch of spice, perhaps the pepper, all above a slightly sweet malt presence. It's a bit dull, all up, to be honest—it certainly doesn't inspire an excited first sip.
Taste is also extremely generic. Flat, light palate, with a generic, but very uncomplicated bitterness through the mid to back, the suggests very mild bittering hops. There's a hint of spice or pepper on the finish, that lingers giving a mild sense of heat. It's extremely light, and really not very exciting. The heat of the pepper perhaps comes through, but it's very subtle, and doesn't really add a great deal of interest to a particularly lacklustre beer.
It's ok, but very far from exciting. I thought this had the potential to give some genuinely interesting characters, and it ended up being woefully bland. It's not hideous, it's just boring.

Squat custom bottle, standard Italian flair.
Pours a slightly hazy amber/red color with a small off white head. Big hoppy nose, nothing earth shattering, good balance. Unique layers in flavor, hop dominant, the pink peppercorns add a special dimension to the beer. Unique but far from a winner, price sticker shock, big time.

Shared by bmanning recently, thanks Ben! Beer served in a snifter, beer is yellow and hazy with a wispy white head of small bubbles, some lacing.
Aroma is grapefruit, then some grapefruit, then more grapefruit.
Beer is light and quite bitter, there is a little spiciness to it but the hops win this contest by a lot, cute little beer, interesting, grapefruit hop bomb all the way.

Bottle courtesy of bmanning last Sunday. Served in a Mikasa tulip.
Poured a semi-hazy peach color with a good white head and a bit of lacing on the way down. The nose carried a bit of light pepper and some mild grapefruit. Slight dryness accompanies the pepper and citrus rind in the flavor. Light body with good carbonation and a mild bitterness throughout. Really nicely done without anything going over the top.

Bottle purchased at Merchants in Dearborn, spotted since in Columbus too. This poured a light golden color with a little haze and some light foam too. Hoppy but in an aged way, not much malt fighting for aroma space though. Pepper is only mildly detectable on the nose.
The pepper is a little more prominent in the taste, even so it seems to be a low amount of it. It works well with this style, just as I'd hoped when I bought it. Tasty citrus with a tiny pepper punch at the end of each sip.
I paid too much for this ($9 + change) because I'm an idiot and a slut for new beers. It was good but definitely not worth that much coin.
