I figured I'd try every beer made in Indiana... I'm getting there.
This beer pours nice into the bottom of my glass. It has a fiery burnt orange to tarnished copper color. Nice dissipating, not too much of - cream colored, head. You really can't see through the beer. So it's consistently hazy.
Has a nice sweet and citrusy smell. Mixed in nicely with aromatic hops. Fairly balanced one doesn't overwhelm the other to me. This could be sign that I'm too insensitive to hop smells. Last night I had a pound of Cascade in my hands and I think it destroyed my senses. That's a whole nother story.
Tastes of some roasty malt, maybe a little caramel??Smooth coming in, however the bubbles at the end seem to penetrate my tongue a little harsh with the hops. I would suggest this beer my be slightly over-carbonated.
With that said, I can see this being a great session beer for hop lovers. It's well done. I'll have another. Thanks.
One other thing... it says "tavern style" on the bottle. I'm not sure what that means. Anyone??

On tap at Barley Island in Noblesville
Pint glass with 1/2 finger of off white foam and nice sticky lace on the glass
Smell is basic hops and pine with a malty backbone.
Taste follows the nose. Bitter hops without a ton else.
An average IPA that I feel with a bit of tweeting could be great

Rather boring. A crispy malt with very light hops for an IPA. No underlying flavored, no great smell. Nothing makes this beer bad, but nothing makes it good as well.

I had this poured into a pint glass at my hotel bar in Indy, my first offering from these guys. Pretty standard IPA. Good looking copper color, I'd say definitely above average. Not a ton of taste, mild hops, some slight pine...strong aroma given the flavor. Not bad.
