The beer is cloudy; the colour is cool orange-yellow (10 EBC). The three finger white compact head sinks slowly leaving some lacing.

The smell is yeasty and fruity with lots of smooth spicy notes. Some citric and piny hops. The mix of herbal and lemon flavours are very pleasant and brings depth to the smell. It is quite sweet with a light wheat tartness.

The taste is spicy with some yeast and hints of soap. It is balanced and well kept together. Lemons and orange peels, herbal spices plus nutmeg, cloves and thyme in the background. The slowly growing clean bitterness is stronger than the German originals, but it works well, making it less sticky then some of the Bavarian ones. Full bodied. The aftertaste got strong yet smooth sweet flavours, some New World hops and hints of dough and wheat flour. Fresh herbs, some hay and mild spices. Metallic bitterness in the finish.

The carbonation is fresh but not sharp. The many bubbles are small and long lived. The liquid is semi-thick and a bit sticky.

Fresh and drinkable, the New World hops adds depth to a classic German profile. One of the best Swedish hefeweizens I have had.

A: The color is murky pale orange with an enormous white light head that after quite some time settles into rich lacings.

S: Wheat; ripe sweet bananas. Interesting smoke way in the back; smoked ham. Clove and spices. Some citric notes in the back.

T: The bananas are there, but rather held back and not very sweet. Bitter hops. Citric notes and cloves. A little spice.

M: Long bitter aftertaste, medium body and rather rich carbonation.

O: A very bitter hoppy Hefe, not bad but far from the description of this style.
