Opened in the same bulding as the old Buckhead Brewery on Old Milton Parkway, Embers Grill is a welcome addition to the local scene in the northern suburbs. The inside is pretty much unchanged from the old brewpub (since there was nothing wrong with that woody open aired place to begin with). the food seemd good, but quite costly. I’ve only had one beer the last time I was there, but it was a most excellent American Amber Ale on cask. I plan to be back soon to taste more of the offerings. The service I experienced was good, and there seemed to be real love of the beer they were making.

Embers is in a former Buckhead Brewery location. Looks like something between a ski lodge and an American sports bar. Food and drinks are of very good quality. Mostly continental (French) inspired American cuisine. The wait staff is obviously very young and green, though friendly. Selection is good assuming that you like upscale Continental-American cuisine. Value is a bit low considering the options. Somewhat overpriced at $70 for 3 people since you can get more refined cuisine for a similar price (minus the alcohol) at other restaurants. I hope Embers survives and prospers. They are similar to 5 Seasons in a more convenient North Atlanta location.
