Stopped by and grabbed a growler. I planned on waiting but the dude said they tapped it just today, needed to have some hops!
A: wow. Pours a deep yellow almost orange with a nice fluffy white head.
S: on the pour, my hotel room started to smell like grapefruit. Wow. Never had a beer this strong in the nose.
T: very bitter but a nice malt backbone. Easy to sip and enjoy pn a warm day.
M: carbonation is good. Right where it needs to be
O: damn fine ipa from Jackie os. Hoping I gt to top by here again someday!

I had this on-tap during the anniversary celebration. Served in a tasting glass.
Appearance: The beer pours a clear amber color with a quarter finger of fluffy head that fades to a layer on top of the pour.
Smell: Grain with a strong spice note from the rye. Just a touch of fruity hops. Nice even if it's not very strong.
Taste: There is a very nice rye spice that backs up the citrus peel hop bitterness. The spice note remains through the whole sip with the bitterness building to the finish.
Mouthfeel: The body is medium with very fluffy carbonation and a dry finish.
Overall: I would have liked the overall flavor to be a bit stronger, but I enjoyed all the components. I'd have more if it was offered.

This one pours a light bodied, very pale and faint gold in color with only a white lacing around the glass. The nose is light, bright, and clean. It features a nice and fresh, almost galaxy esque hop profile. It's somewhat dry and citrusy. The flavors are also very fresh and somewhat floral. It features a really nice hop profile. It's very light in body and far too drinkable. If this were in cans it would be a huge hit in the summer. The sessionability of this beer is through the roof. I'd say it drinks more like a hoppy pale than a true IPA but it's a really nice and easy drinking IPA nonetheless.

On-tap at the Jackie O's pub in Athens. Poured into an imperial pint glass.
A- Pours a hazy golden color, finger of creamy white head, nice lacing.
S- Citric, fruity notes of tangerine and grapefruit, some pine and leafy hops, a bit of caramel and some rye spiciness.
T- Powerful, bitter hops, leafy and a bit dank, some citrus and rye spiciness on top of light toasted malt.
M- Medium-bodied, smooth, crisp feel, dry finish.
O- A very nice IPA, the rye provides a nice complement to the citric hops, very enjoyable.

Appearance: Arrives with nice head sitting atop the amber liquid; lacing action was impressive
Smell: Citrusy, with tangerines dominant and a little bit of toast
Taste: After the toast lays down the backbone, the tangerines dominate the front end through the finish, with a bit of spicy rye detectable in the back
Mouthfeel: Medium body with crisp carbonation
Overall: A very nice and refreshing IPA; goes great with the Jackie O's pizza

A- Pours a hazy golden orange color with a solid off white head. Head turns into a layer of bubbles and leaves some nice layered lacing.
S- Quite a bit of balance going on between the hops and malts. A bit of tropical fruit hops and a roasted malts.
T- Ahhhh there's the rye, more of a grassy hop, oranges coming through, spice and roasted malts.
M- Medium in both body and fairly light in carbonation.
0- Not me favorite by any means I liked the "spiced" verision much better.

On tap at Jackie O's public house, the night before the June release. Brad, himself, has told me this is his favorite IPA hes done. Since then I've been excited to try it. Especially after I missed it at Bodega.
Appearance
Lots of lacing, that I can't really tell where its origins are. There isn't much of a head, just a whispy collar. The beer is a minorly cloudy brass.
Aroma
Snappy caraway paired up with zesty orange. The malts have an even toastiness about them. The aroma is quite balanced, but as compaired to today's wild IPAs, somewhat malty.
Taste
A medicinal bitterness builds on the finish. The flavor is toasted rye, some grassiness and lemon-lime.
Mouthfeel
Slick with a semi dry, semi oily finish. Lower carbonation. Lingering bitterness.

Thanks for sharing, Urbancaver. This was in a hand bottle/growler sort of thing.
From notes
NB: This was basically flat, but still quite good. Scores do not adjust for lack of carbonation. Intend to re-review on tap.
A - Golden amber body - beautiful color - no head.
S - Nice rye spice and hop profile, good malt balance.
T - Flat, but a nice hop profile with a great rye spice compliment.
M - Smooth as can be, flat, nice and full, thick body.
O (D) - This would be a great beer, but as is is just very good.
