Artificial clover syrup, earthy hops, and a sprinkle of dishwater.
___
A: Dark but very clear burgundy with virtually no head
S: Nutty and sweet with a slight earthy hop presence. There was a bit of a dishwater thing going on, but it was still a decent aroma overall.
T: Very green clover honey sweet, almost artificially so, and lightly toasted body with a not quite balancing drying resinous hops, which appears mostly on the finish. Again, there was a slight dishwater taste. Something artificial about the sweetness.
M: One foot firmly planted on the watery side.
O: The clover flavor was at least unique, but the overly thin body ruins it for me.

a wonderful dark brown color with one finger of head that disappeared slowly and left a light lacing.
the beer has a great malty aroma with a bit of nuttiness and a hint of chocolate.
a nice rich creamy body. sweet and malty with a pleasant hint of roast.there is a very subtle bit of hoppiness in the finish.
overall a really well done brown ale.

Poured a very nice brown with some very nice head and a bit of decent lacing. Nice deep malty aroma with hints of hazel and chocolate. Nice deep malt flavors, a good thick sweetness and a bit of nuttiness to it, with just a hint of hops at the end. Went down very well, nice and smooth. It went quite excellently with the mini-tenderloin sandwich that I ordered.
