Consumed April 29th, 2012 from a standard pint glass. Reviewed from notes.
Beer pours a clear, light golden, very similar to a standard macro lager. A one-finger white head composed of fairly fine bubbles crowns this brew.
Aroma is tangy, sweet wheat. Hints of honey and an unidentifiable herbal note. Interesting.
Mouthfeel is somewhat thick with tingly carbonation present as well.
Flavor: sweet with husky grain, honey and clover. Light and citrusy with wheat tang. Tiniest bit of alcohol and juicy fruit character at the end.
To say I was pleasantly surprised by this offering would be an understatement. I would gladly drink this beer again, especially on a warm day.

A: Brilliant clarity on a tarnished orange coloring shows a strong and fast rate of effervesce. The head is initially good, a solid finger, some fizziness and bubbly action atop with a one part creamy and one part frothy texture. Retention was moderate, lasting a few good minutes while the lacing was weak, spotty, and hardly worth a mention. Squeaks by with above average regards, but not by much.
S: Stale metallic oranges, weak and a big drop off from the visual aspect. Soft feathery green hops, but where is the wheat character? Hardly impressive to say the least.
T: Oranges and flowery with a spicy hop character. Much better defined then the nose. Sweet orange with a touch of dried honey flower.
M: Medium body, a bit creamy, some resistance but overall just an average experience.
O: Labeled as a cross between a bright wheat and wheat wine ale, both of which i didnt see. Easy drinkability but little fan fare. Its not bad flavor wise, just not what i consider a wheat beer by any stretch let alone bright. Average.

Looks quite lovely in the tall glass, golden with a touch of amber. Weird root flavor, like vegetable broth with some parsnips. Malty and fairly rich, rather sweet. Not much in the way of hops.
I remember this as being better, so probably like a lot of malty beers it has started going south. Odd perfumey flavor. A touch of the plastic.
I like the brewery and I should have reviewed this a year ago. From the 12 oz bottle.
