Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a pint glass. Pours clear straw orange with a small fluffy white head. Smells of sweet grain, much like an adjunct. Tastes of adjunct grain with just a hint of citrus hops. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, a bit heavily carbonated. Overall, a slightly above average beer.

Golden color, slight foam head that disappears quickly. Strong carbonation throughout. Very hoppy, not quite to the Pale Ale level though. Crisp finish. Enjoyable overall for a special (hoppy) version of a Pilsner...unique in a good way.

Poured from bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden color with a small fizzy white head. The head fades rather fast leaving just a trace of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is massive of a bready and grainy taste mixed with a little bit of a floral and grassy hop smell. Along with these aromas comes a little bit of a sweet caramel and harvest fruit smells as well.
Taste – The taste begins with a bready and slightly grainy taste that is mixed with a little bit of a sweet harvest and stone fruit tastes of pear, peach, and apple with a little bit of caramel. As the taste advances more hop of a grassy and hay flavor hit the tongue with a little bit of a floral hop coming in as well. In the end, with the transitions that occur, one is left with a somewhat sweeter, but still smooth and crisp taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is on the average side in terms of thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is on the average side as well. For the nice mix of sweet and lighter hop, as well as the malt, the feel is rather fitting for the 5 % abv. and makes for a very easy sipping brew.
Overall – I rather enjoyed this brew. It was super easy to drink and quite flavorful. Quite nice and something Shiner should consider making a regular in the lineup.

12 oz bottle poured into a wide mouthed cup at a Memorial Day party. Golden colored, white head on the beer. Found it pleasantly enjoyable, refreshing, and liked the touch of bitterness coming through on this Pils.

Clear gold yellow, with a thin blanket.
Hay, bread, and...I guess hops.
Taste is of bitter grass, not much going on here.
Unimpressive, and verging on pointless. This is a huge disappointment considering the success of the previous iteration.
