This medium to large, usually crowded restaurant/bar is a great place to get a solid meal. Although they specialize in pizzas and calzones they also have a very extensive sandwich and appetizer menu as well. Fish and chips and meatball sub were excellent during my last visit. The beers on tap are a mixture of macros and Colorado crafts with Murphy's stout as well the Guinness/Harp standards. Extensive bottle selection (100 or so), which is probably the best in town. The floorplan is actually split into separate dining areas divided by an arcade which is usually packed with kids, even late night during ski season. Despite long waits for seating, the food and beer are worth it and the prices are very reasonable esp. for Summit county. Worth a visit for sure.

We are big fans of Eric's. It is a great place for the entire family. My wife loves the pizza. I love the beers, and our son loves the arcade. It is not specifically a beer place, but the selection is not bad and goes just fine with the pizza and is perfect for finishing a day on the slopes. The staff is friendly enough, and it is always busy. The bar area is small, but being able to have beer with my pizza is worth it. This is a must visit while in Breckenridge not only for the beer, but for the delicious pizza and a place for the kids to play while the grown ups enjoy the beer and food.

My buddy and I came here while on our trip to Breckenridge. The place is located below street level on Main Street. When you walk in, there's an arcade and the restaurant is located to the left and the right. We sat down and got a pitcher of the Breckenridge Amber (a decent beer, not great though). Good atmosphere here. Mostly an upper 20s crowd. I got the chicken sandwich that was pretty good. Well priced food and beer here also. I'd also say they had about 20 microbrews on tap here. My buddy and I played some classic games (Off Road) in the arcade. Overall, a pretty impressive place to go on a Friday night.

A charming, always crowded bar/restaurant on Main Street in Breck.
A good, not great, beer destination - Breck is a disappointing town for beer - but better than the Breckenridge Brewery & Pub on my trip.
Nice little video arcade in the downstairs entryway. Charming vibe overall, though it's noisy. I had lunch at the bar - the baked chicken wings (a house specialty) were good. Great, friendly service from the bartenders, who gave me the 10% locals discount even though I was clearly a tourist.
About fourteen taps. Basic macros, Harp, Bass, Guinness, Fat Tire. Craft beers included seasonals from Sam Adams and New Belgium, one or two from Breckenridge Brewing, and maybe two other Colorado beers. Many dozens of bottles available, though most are pretty typical imports - not a Colorado craft beer bonanza (though there were several cans from Oskar Blues).
Not a beer destination by any stretch, but a decent first stop if you're already in Breck and want to find a good beer or two.

This is one of the hardest beerfly reviews that I've ever done. I first visited the place in high school and college on ski trips and loved it simply for the pizza, arcade and atmosphere. Now a decade or so later I'm a craft beer crazed nut and made a return visit to Eric's. It was a Friday night and the place was packed. It was a beautiful snowy night but you can't enjoy that view because (as the name states) you are in a basement. I was with my sister and her two sons. They had a great time playing in the arcade while I hit the bar. It's a big plus to find a beer destination where you can take kids. The bar area is fairly small and a little crowded. The beers are fresh and good quality. The service at the bar and in the restaurant were slow but it was crowded. The selection rating is very difficult. They have a lot of beers but a lot is BMC, Guinness, Bass, Harp, Heineken, etc. They also have a good number of craft beers, however, only one was new to me. I had the Breckenridge Lucky U IPA on tap and it was good. Other than that, I knocked back a couple Stone IPAs because I can't get those in MO. The pizza is still as good as I remember it. I was also torn when it came to rating the value because beer prices were fair to excellent (I even saw a 750 of Chimay for only $9) but the pizza prices are a little high. Eric's is worth a stop if you have kids you need to entertain and want to have some good beers with great pizza.

Visited this place on one of my many recent visits to Breck. Beer selection is probably the best you'll see in Summit County, but it still really kind of ho hum in my opinion. The beer selection is mostly standard fair Colorado micros, with standard imports, and BMC. There are a couple of surprises though. The most surprising being Ayinger's Celebrator.
While the menu is extensive, it's standard pub grub with some pizza thrown in. We had some nachos and buffalo wings. They were pretty good.
We had a very attentive waitress, and the establishment seemed to be well staffed even on a Sunday afternoon (it was the NFL opening Sunday). I wasn't too crazy about the arcade/Chucky Cheese atmosphere. It attracts too many screaming kids, but hey, that's their thing.
If you take the menus of a few pubs/taverns and the beer selection of a few pubs/taverns and combine them together with video games and TVs, you have Eric's. It's definitely a good alternative to the ho-hum beer of Breck Brewery.
If you are visiting from out of state, it's definitely worth a visit. If you are a Coloradan that is regularly in Summit County, I would suggest visiting the breweries in Frisco and Dillon to satisfy your beer palate.

Good beer is not as prevalent in breck as it is in other colorado ski towns. Eric's may be the "largest selection", but it is probably the largest beer selection I have ever seen where I had to really try to find a beer I wanted. Think beck's, harp, bass, guinness, blue moon, bud, bud light, coors, coors light, amstel light, and any other macro beer you can think of, and they have it on tap. Throw in SNPA, Beck Avalanche, a sam adams seasonal, and a new belgium seasonal (your best bet), and you have their tap list. Bottle list is equally as bad. If you look in the local micro bottle section, you will find some avery and breck small batch 471 stuff.
Our waitress knew nothing about beer, and when I asked what type of beer the new belgium seasonal was, I was told "it's an ale, ya know, light."
Pizza is good and reasonably priced. Beer is $3.50-$4.25 each, which is good for a bar in a ski town.
