Lets just say I'm digging the monk on the label, reminds me to just sit back relax and have a beer and don't get all caught up in these crazy times of craft brew. Anyways little rant over, poured beer into my Sam Adams perfect pint glass which seems to work for every beer.
A: This little 120z. beauty pours a classic hefe hazy straw yellow with bits of clear white edges with wonderful yeast tornado floating and maneuvering around. The head soared up like most hefe's but didn't quite have that big puffy marshmallowness I'm used to seeing.
S: First off you get that wheat tang kickin in high gear, but soon starts smelling of cloves, spices, and an unmistakable smell of banana bread. Really digging this one love the banana flavor in my hefeweizens.
T: Initially you get hit with a subtle sweetness, moves onto the spicy cloves taste just like aroma then transfers to the wheat tang with a bit of a metallic in the finish as well. Dang missing the banana in this one.
M: Started out kinda cream cause of the head, but once it disappeared seemed on the light side. Carbonation seemed high and a bit harsh specially on the back end of the palate.
O: This beer started out really solid and ended up just a bit above average to me. Was one of the first German hefeweizen I ever had but since then I have had better.

This beer is so delicious. I gave it an overall score of 4.75. It's hard to not finish every last drop. The taste is yeasty and is much like Wiehenstephaner or Leffe Blonde. I live in a small Texas town so good beer is harder to come by. Luckily one of our liquor stores carries this brew. Fantastic!

hazy golden color with a nice head that stays for a while. nice full lacing.
faint smell. taste is bready obviously, with flavors of banana and citrus, maybe some spice. the citrus bitterness lingers and makes it an interesing beer.

Look: A bit darker than a typical 5% American offering the German beer offers a unique taste exclusive to the Weissbier style which comes in rare form in South Texas. It offers a texture that is appealing to anyone that likes a refreshing choice of beer.
Smell: The smell offers hints of citrus in a tangy aroma that is more powerful than typical light beer offerings.
Taste: The style offered by this Munich brewerer is a staple of German beer and culture in my experience.
Feel: The feel very effervescent in it's delivery. It hits the palate with a strong feel to the side receptors of the tounge that detect a sour and tart flavor that is unique to the style.
Overall: This offering gives a strong impression of an international style rarely found, but championed in my region where German culture is celebrated. This taste Munich Brewing is a great reminder of the diversity of European beer offerings and is a staple in my selection. Bravo!

500 ml can, poured in a Weissen-glass. Pours a hazy yellow golden colour, with a moderate two finger white head. Vivid carbination, small bubbles, fine foam, Biscuity smell, some sweetness, a bit of banana, little herby tanginess.
Smooth mouth feel, Very round, profound, bready tasts swith, develops sweet-sour fruity, green apple, with a tingly a bit more bitter aftertaste.
Excellent beer, great value for money.

Sort of citrusy, sort of tangy and sour. Goes down smoothly, kind of crisp, has a nice aftertaste, kind of lingers for a while but that tartness makes for an interesting aftertaste. It isn't a heavy flavor, it is kind of light, not hearty, but still a full beer. All around good beer

Steady head, banana and clove aroma. Slightly bitter taste. Amazing Bavarian Weißbier.

Fantastic beer, if you like the unique taste of hefeweizen! Unfortunately, it's almost impossible to find in upstate NY. Expiration date is on bottle which is not always the case for hefeweizens.

This is either my #1 or #2 favorite beer, nothing bad to say about it. This is a true hefeweizen and comes in usually a little cheaper than the other popular german hefeweizens. Very thick and foamy feel to it, with a strong banana bread flavor that is perfect for enjoying during the colder months.
