Things have changed a bit since I was here 10 months ago.
The importer who brought us Thomas Hardy, St Bernardus, Timothy Taylor etc. seems to have folded, so these labels are conspicously absent.
Kudos to the store manager who remembered my face from my first visit.... maybe the Hardy-inspired drooling was too hard to forget. But, I have some concern about some of the advice offered.... e.g. Knappstein Special Reserve Lager should be cellared.... hmmm... not sure about that....
Picked up the Bluetongue Vintage Ale 2005 here.... which is quite a find as only 200 or so cases were brewed.
Always worth a visit.

This shop rocks! It's possibly one of the best bottle shops in the Illawarra/South Coast. Always has a great selection of imported and Australian beers, espescially ones that I've either never seen before, or have only ever read about. The beers are 90% of the time quite fresh, but sadly a tad pricey. But, you get what you pay for.
A bit out of the way, but if you're heading south along the Highway, drop in, read the shelf tags, have a chuckle, buy some great beers! The traffic in Berry always sucks, seems people think that 50 kph means 20kph... I dunno...
