Not as good as the Ontario store, located in the Citrus Plaza next to Barnes and Noble and Target
Next to a BevMo which does not help out its cause
Heard they are putting a Yard House across the street, could be a major plus
Had some nice boxes of winter beers already that had a couple hard to find Sierra Nevadas like Bigfoot and their IPA
About half as much beer as other Cost Plus' I have visited
Sell all of three of the Chimays for relatively low prices
Had some Anderson Valley Summer Solstice still and some Summerfest
Can also buy singles out of six packs

Included in a new shopping district just north of the I-10 freeway (off the Alabama Exit when driving eastbound) near the 30 (soon to be 215) interchange.
In case you don't know, Cost Plus World Market is a bazaar-type store with stuff from all over the world- for the home mostly (furniture, kitchen stuff, wall hangings, etc.), but also with food, wine, and beer from around the world. Think Pier 1 with a liquor department.
Quality is hard to pin down. This chain really isn't a beer store, it just happens to have a lot of beer (see below). I suspect a lot of it gets old, and it's sitting on open shelves under fluorescent lights, so caveat emptor.
Service- the store in general has decent service, but I would be hugely surprised to find anyone that knows beer. Don't expect quality help.
Selection. I counted (in a couple of stores) about 90 different beers, of which about 70 are craft beers or unusual finds (not necessarily craft beer, but oddball stuff you don't see elsewhere). Not all good or excellent, but some interesting finds.
The best parts of this place are 1) lots of singles for the one-time tasting, and 2) their boxed sets (10 different "Craft Beers" or "Beers of the World") that give an interesting selection and make great easy gift packs for new beeradvocates in your life.
This place is in the same complex as a decent BevMo, and so that store is the obvious choice for good beer. But this is good to find different, oddball finds.
