A: It appears as a dull copper color, that is very hazy. Only shadows are visible through it. The head is white, and forms a soap-like rim around the outside of the glass. There is visible sediment floating in the beer (possibly hops or yeast from bottle carbonation? not sure). Very spotted lacing.

S: It has a candy-like sweetness to its scent...very malty. The hops come through as very earthy, with notable resin character.

T: It has a mellow bitterness, with a lot more hop character coming through after taking a sip rather than while drinking. The hops taste very similar to the scent, very resinous and some pine-like qualities. The malt profile is not as pronounced in the flavor, as it is in the scent.

M: The mouthfeel is very nice. It has just the right bitterness to say "hey I'm an IPA and you need to wake up" and has just the right carbonation to feel alive in the mouth.

O: Overall I thought it was a very nice IPA, but it seemed very one-dimensional. There wasn't much complexity in the hop flavors or smell. The appearance isn't all that great, even if I discount the sediment (because it is likely intentional). I would drink it again, but I wouldn't recommend it compared to the vast ocean of AIPA/IPA/IIPA's available.

12 oz can, best by 7/22/2013. Not sure when it's bottled, but since that's over 2 months away, I assume it's pretty fresh.

A: Nice fluffy white head that dissipates quickly. Clear copper body. Great lacing. Looks good.

S: Bright citrusy hops, wet cereal malt. Nice balance.

T: Mellow hop bite on the front, nice malt backbone at the end.

M: Thin for the style, a little light on the carbonation.

O: Solid IPA. Love the cans. Will buy this more if it's on sale.

Bottle > Sensory Pilsner glass

A - Pours a nice clear gold, two finger head, good lacing
S - Some real nice pineapple aromas coming from this, as well as some floral, earthy, and a rhubarb type malty mix.
T - Things tone down a bit here and its mostly pine you get from the hops and some sweet dried fruit and sweet malt.
M - And things get odd here, it has a largely metallic aftertaste, and is very chewy.
O - Starts out nice, but goes downhill, but that being said, its still a decent IPA, though my qualms with it make me not want to get it again.
