maybe a bit underrated on here. pours a deep golden honey color thats darker than expected. nose of sweet clover honey and crisp hops. flavor is similar to the nose, with the honey really popping out and the light malt profile keeping it around in the mouth for awhile. a bit of wheat in the flavor as well. feel is good, maybe a little bit flat, but very refreshing and drinkable. i has this in park city utah very shortly after a red rock honey wheat, and this one was exponentially better, with greater depth and feel. overall not an amazing beer, but a good outside drinking beer on a sunny spring day. would order this again if it was available in colorado, but i havnt seen this one around yet.

(Served in a bowtie glass)
A- This beer pours a crystal clear caramel colored hue with a sea of slow bubbles supporting a lumpy meringue of off-white heat that last a good bit.

S- The clean nose has hints of dried corn and some faint green papery hops with a cream note coming through the finish as it warms.

T- The dry slightly sulfur taste has some raw barley and corn notes in the finish with some dry mead taste growing as it opens and blending with a carbonic acid taste.

M- The light mouthfeel has a crisp fizz and no real alcohol heat to it.

O- This beer is light and clean but doesn’t really have any character to it and didn’t have much honey or malt flavors in there at all.

Pours a two finger white head that fades quickly to a ring leaving some lace. Nearly clear amber color. Light carbonation and light-medium bodied. Honey and citric nose, flavor is light honey and malt with light hops at finish. $2.39 for a 12oz bottle from Julio's Liquors Westborough, MA. Best by 6/1/2013.

This brew pours a deep copper/orange with a tiny head which quickly dissipates. Very minimal lacing on the glass.

The smell is a hint of orange, wheat, grass, bread and sweet malts.

The taste is sweet with a pretzel like bread taste. There is a little orange in the flavor, sweet and roasted malts and sadly, very little honey.

The mouthfeel is somewhat bready and somewhat thin at the same time. There is a lot of carbonation amounting to too much fizz. There is also a dry feeling left in the mouth after swallowing.

Overall this beer is plain and fails to impress. In spite of the promise of honey given by the label, there is very little honey in the taste. The bready and sweet malts are not bad along with the pretzel and orange taste but I won't be drinking this brew again.

L- Slightly hazy copper color with a medium size off white head. Head fades rapidly but leaves some lace on the glass.

S- Faint aroma of honey and citrus.

T- Mild malt and hints of sweet honey, not complex but straightforward from the beginning to the finish. Finish is slightly sweet and clean.

M- Medium in body and carbonation.

O- I was expecting a bit more from this, at 4.0% ABV it could be a session beer but not really interesting enough for me to want another one.

Best before 6/21/13.

Pours a slightly hazy orange with a foamy beige head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Foamy streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt and an earthy honey aroma. Taste is much the same with a citrus flavor on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an average beer with a decent honey aroma but I am not getting any distinct honey flavors from this one.

I do not remember where I picked this up (much like having the clap), but Uinta has hit PA in a big way! The Mormons have a solid foothold and good understanding of where to ship their beer for maximum sales. I dri. nk this in honor of my honey honey, the Old Lady, who is not just a hot number, but also an apiarist, a meadarist, a homebrewer and an all-around Doll. Love ya and miss ya lots.

From the bottle: "Brewed with ORGANIC barley, hops & honey"; "USDA Organic"; "Ale Brewed with Honey"; "For Best Flavor Enjoy in a Glass"; "Brewed with RENEWABLE POWER"; "Earth, Wind and Beer"; "Stung by Uinta Brewing Co.".

I was curious - if an inverted Glug causes beer from a CAN to mimic a cascade, what would happen if I inverted a bottle? Pretty much the same thing, except that it seems to shoot out of the neck of the bottle as though it is propelled by gunpowder! I really had to take drastic action as the head began to rise to the top of the glass much more quickly than anticipated and the cascade was not converting to liquid fast enough. DON'T PANIC! DON'T ANYBODY PANIC! IT'S ALL UNDER CONTROL! or so I told myself, hoping for the best. It actually turned into one of the best pours of my career. I had a dense, tawny finger of head that seemed determined not only to hang in, but also to create some lovely lacing in its wake. Color was the sort of amber in which you see Paleozoic insects preserved along with NE-quality clarity. Nose had the honey-like smell of well-made lagers, but I knew/remembered that this was an ale. Clover honey, perhaps? There was a slightly perfume-y/flowery aspect to the nose. Mouthfeel was kind of thin and limp for the style, not quite flat, but not a lot of carbonation, either. The taste was light, honey-like, but very unobtrusive. Finish had that same spring garden flowery perfuminess to it that I noted on the nose. Now, I am really curious as to what my Honey Honey might think of it as I am sure that she could do better. This needs to be tweaked to bring out the flavors more prevalently. I felt like I was now ready to drink a beer upon finishing this one.

Best By: 06/01/13

Pours an orange hued golden with a foamy white head and light lacing.

Fairly subtle all around. But crisp, clean crackery, grain malt notes with faint sweetness from the honey and malts and a lightly floral character as well.

Medium body, mild foamy carbonation.

A well done blonde ale, good for warm weather. Easy drinking, with an enjoyable flavor profile.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a duvel glass.

A: pours a slightly hazy coppery golden/orange with about of finger of white head that does down quick.... Some nice lacing.... Appearance kinda reminds me of honey.

S: I get a lot of dry, doughy bready yeastyness, Grains? And a hint of sweetness. A very mild nose overall.

T: grain, oats, breadiness, a touch of honey on the end, I get a bit of floralness in there too with the organic wild flower honey.

M: medium body with medium sharp carbonation, deffinatly leavs a dryness in the mouth, very light finish, almost pushing watery.

O: this isn't a bad beer, but it's not great either, I wish the honey was kicked up a few notches and that the bready Malts took more of a backseat.... The base beer here is a blonde, btw, like I said not a bad beer but overall I felt it could of been better.
Now that I look back I see this is a 4 percent session beer, I'm not a big session beer guy,
That's probably why I didn't like this so much.... But I suppose for a session beer it's not bad.

12 oz. bottle,

A: Pours a deep gold, with a soft cap of white foam. A little fizzy.

S: Very light, some bread notes with a hint of honey, but nothing much.

T: Bready malt, sourdough bread, with a hint of honey, lemon and sugar cane.

M: Light-bodied, crisp carbonation, easy to drink.

O: An adequate session beer, but the honey never really makes a huge appearance as I would have liked. Forgettable in the end.

Pours close to two fingers of eggshell white microfoam, dissolves rapidly without much dimpling, leaves a thin coating of islands across the surface, curiously the thin lacing sticks in complete sheets down the glass sides and refuses to budge. The liquid is a light coppery orange color, very clear with loosely scattered if active tiny bubbles, very little change around the rims and glass bottom, maybe slight yellowing. The nose is salty and pretzel-like more than honeyed, wheat germ and cut grass, whisper of pressed flowers and orange rind, pinch of cocoa powder, the peach, apricot fruit silently nods when it meets your eye. Medium-bodied, for as dry as it is the carbonation gives it a soft and fluffy mouth feel. The honey a notch higher here, no more, sweetens the lemon to orange citrus and bolsters the yellow apple, peach, apricot fruit, at least through the mid-palate. More wheat and unprocessed grains than green hoppiness. Retains that element of salt with some white pepper too. Balanced with no one part sticking out above the rest, not going to break any new territory but super easy to throw back.

Appearance - This is a light orange color with little head.

Smell - The aroma is very faint, almost undetectable, but is made up light grain and a small whiff of cheap honey.

Taste - The honey comes out more at the taste but it is stale, or maybe it's the grain that's stale. Something is stale and nothing tastes particularly appealing.

Mouthfeel - This is light-bodied with some fizzy carbonation.

Sinkability - I'm a hard sell on a honey blonde lager to begin with and this didn't help the cause. The ingredients came across as cheap and the flavors didn't work well together.

Bright golden body. Lace white head that fizzles out to a patchy covering with moderate lacing.

Vanilla, cream soda and honey aromas. Earthy and leafy hops on the nose.

Vanilla bean and honey, with some cream soda sweetness, much like the nose. Biscuity malt backbone. Earthy hops on the finish, giving a slight bitterness to the body.

Not much complexity, but very refreshing, especially on a hot day like today. The low ABV makes this a perfect choice to bring to the beach or a BBQ.

A-Pours amber. Head is minimal. Slight haze. Would have expected this beer to be brighter in color.

S-Smells like a lager infused with honey. It also smells like tea with honey. Sweet with underlying Lager yeast. Not detecting any hops.

T-Nothing truly offensive. Honey isn't really that stressed. Tastes fairly generic. Surprisingly bitter. Could be much worse.

M-Light and bubbly.

O/D-At $11 a six pack (although I only bought a single) this beer is overpriced. I am having trouble finding much to say about this beer.

Poured from bottle into Two Brothers pint. Head is nice and pretty thick. Look is pretty good as well with a amber shade.
Odor is almost non-existent. Some sweet maybe but very little.
Taste is very light. A hint of honey sweetness. Mostly some malt and a little grain.
Mouth feel is very light as well. It is not too bad, just light and smooth.
Overall a very light beer. Not really that sweet. Not much to it really.

12 oz. bottle into a Samuel Adams Boston Lager Glass.

A- Clear, light amber. Pale golden head.

S- None to speak of. Lager yeast stands out over all other ingredients.

T- VAGUELY sweet on the back of the palate. Typical light lager.

MF- Very mild carbonation bordering on flat, slightly viscous.

D- Again, nothing to write home about. Kudos to Uinta for not over-doing it on the honey, but if not for the bee on the label, you might not even know it's in there. Nothing offensive about it, but for the money, there are many better beers out there. The "organic" gimmick isn't worth much if the product doesn't stack up.

Part of Uinta's Four+ Series, this is a "Honey Stung Ale".

A: Pours a orangish yellow color with a small foam head with some spotty lacing left down the side of the glass.

S: Mostly some light honey, bready malts and a slight undertone of citrus hops.

T: Starts off slightly bitter, mostly from the citrus hop flavors. The honey becomes more prevelant in the middle and on the back end supplying a nice smooth back bone.

M: A little bitter and a little sweet taste left on the palate. A light bodied beer.

O: Never had honey in a pale ale before but it worked for the most part. Not overly complex but worthy of a try.

A - An aggressive pour displays a 1/2 inch white head that leaves pretty nice streaks of lacing. The body is an amber hued gold

S - Soapy grain, lager yeast, honey coated cereal.

T - Sweet cereal with honey edges. Reminds my of honey combs cereal. Sugary tea tannins as well as a touch of hops on the end. Finishes crisp and slick.

M - Light to medium bodied, good carbonation.

Honey is very present. Overall this is a really tasty brew, especially for the style. The finish could have been better though.

Poured a pale amber gold with a very small white head that disappeared very rapidly with zero lacing.

Aroma of light grainy malt and maybe a hint of honey.

Taste followed the nose with the grainy malt, bread and a very slight sweetness from the honey.

Mouthfeel was light body and very light carbonation, a very thin almost watery feel.

Overall I was not impressed, it was easier to drink as it warmed to room temperature. The big question was where was the honey?

A. I'll call it a light honey color. Not much of a head and that leaves town quickly. Same with the lacing or lack of.

S. Grainy with a touch of honey, really not much at all.

T. Has a sweet malty thing going on at the start. Has a grainy taste towards and at the end. I never really got nothing more than a bit of honey in passing.

M. Gives you a malty mouthful that seems medium bodied and somewhat sweet.

D. They call this an ale and Beer Adv. has it listed as a light lager.
The later is way closer to the truth. At 4% this is like someone took a big time lager and added some honey. Made it better but not great.

12oz bottle poured into a Bruery tulip.

A - Pours a thin and watery looking pale amber color. A thin cap of foam lingers briefly and drops to a soda-ish fizzy collar of bubbles.

S - A touch sweet, honey touches. Very grainy, yeasty bread dough like aromas. Hops are secondary here...no real presence in the aroma.

T - Soft, honey sweetness, grainy and bready as in the aroma...really gives me the impression of liquid bread. Hop flavor is barely there...what is there is a touch on the fruity side with a very mild bitterness.

M - Smooth but tingly all over the tongue with a light intensity carbonation in combination with the thinnish body. Very soft feeling.

D - Can't say that this one is anything special or worth writing home about, but it is infinitely drinkable. This goes down easier than water and could be had all day long. A summer lawn mower beer if there ever was one.
