Poured from bottle into Two Brothers pint. Head is nice and pretty thick. Look is pretty good as well with a amber shade.
Odor is almost non-existent. Some sweet maybe but very little.
Taste is very light. A hint of honey sweetness. Mostly some malt and a little grain.
Mouth feel is very light as well. It is not too bad, just light and smooth.
Overall a very light beer. Not really that sweet. Not much to it really.

So I see that this has a 3.03 overall rating! Well I'll do my part to help boost that. A few weeks back early October 2015 I heard Uinta was making a batch of hyve. Odd because it's out of season. Well I was at there facility today picking up a couple of bottles of jack be nimble for Halloween and asked about the new batch of hyve. He said the just finished it and he would run in back and get me a six pack if I wanted. Of coarse I did. So this is a really fresh batch of hyve. Beautiful color smells and taste of flowers and honey. I love it. Very refreshing even as the weather is turning cold. Thanks Uinta.

Appearance is good with a thick, off white, long lasting head, good lacing, and a clear amber color. Aroma is fresh beer, grain, malt, hops, and honey, all in mild amounts. Flavor's quite bland and similar to nose. Body is ok. Overall, a forgettable beer and not up to Uinta's usual standards.

Quite a foam in the all glass. Light amber color. Lovely sudsy mouthful. Aroma is seriously honey, and quite appealing.
The honey flavor, since you're thinking about it, is quite evident. Moderately sweet. The honey does a good job of making this four percent beer taste like it has more body and substance. Perfumey and fresh. Light and refreshing. A winner in the Utah supermarket beer category.
This particular bottle is six months beyond its "best by" date, but it seems to be perfectly clean in flavor. Maybe honey does have anti-bacterial qualities. Certainly one of the best honey-flavored brews I've had. Maybe the lighter, lower-alcohol approach works best. From the 12 oz bottle purchased at Emigration Market in Salt Lake.
