Presentation: 12 oz. can with a "best by" date printed on the bottom. Served in a pint glass.
Appearance: The two finger head stays around for a very long time and leaves a lot of lacing. It's a slightly hazy, dull gold color.
Smell: The aroma is very pleasant with some citrus fruit aromas from the hops at the beginning and a strong peach note at the end.
Taste: It's mostly fruit with the peach flavor front and center which is great. There's also some lemon, orange and orange notes with some fresh hop bitterness in the finish
Mouthfeel: It's light and refreshing with medium-high carbonation.
Overall: It's essentially a simple beer but the aroma and flavors are very pleasant. It should be no surprise, since it's in the name, but it's a very good session beer as well.

Just as I thought that I was nearly out of the woods on the first half of Uinta Abita New Beer This Sunday, Bro./GEN Woody (Week 721)?, this little Piggy came Back from the market! Oink!
From the CAN: "Beer Brewed with Renewable power - wind & solar"; "Pack it in - Pack it out"; "Stalk us?"; "Carried by Uinta Brewing Co Salt Lake City Utah USA"; "Goes well with Anywhere."; "Forget the map, pack the Uinta".
I always feel the need for full disclosure, so I will be upfront & say that I generally do not like Session AIPAs. I dislike that they are based on/around aroma hops & so the taste does not match the nose.
I beCAN by Crack!ing open the vent & in a ChANge of pace today, I gave it an inverted Glug. The head quickly rushed up to form just under two fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, light-tan head with moderate retention. Color was an oh-so-slightly-hazy Golden-Amber (SRM = > 5, < 7), but I CAN guarantee that it was NOT a chill haze! Piggy, what were you doing before I got to you? Oh, my. Nose had a pleasant softness, very evocative of peaches, but underlain with grapefruit & pine. Mmm. Mouthfeel was thin-to-medium, not quite watery, but if that is the worst thing that I write about this beer, then it is home free, Humphrey! I really liked the way that they allowed/managed the peach flavor to dominate while still having the grapefruit & pine to have a say. The label said it all - the piggy was carrying the peach first with the hop cone behind it. This was a really tasty interpretation of an often disappointing sub-style (Session AIPAs). I think that if I liked it this much on a chilly, damp, rainy day on the approach to Winter, then I would really dig it on a hot, humid Summer's day. Finish was semi-dry, but still very refreshing throughout. YMMV.

Pours an effervescent bronze with a thumb of pearl colored head. Great lacing & good head retention
S: Faint breadyness, alittle peach once warm
T: Breadyness, grassyness, a hint of pomelo & peach up front. More grassyness, some dryness & peach as this warms. Finishes dry, grassy & with a little tangerine & peach
MF: Medium body, firm carbonation, pretty good balance
Drinks easy enough, a solid session IPA

12oz can into Nonic Pint
BB 10/7/18
Pours an ever so slightly hazy gold with 2 finger thick cream colored head, with great retention that stays until the bottom of the glass
First sniff is pine, but after that it's peach all the way through
Lightly toasted malt, followed by peach, that leads into a nice piney finish
Feel is light but not watery, a bit of creaminess as well
Overall this is a pleasant surprise, while obviously very peachy Uinta managed to make this a balanced brew, with the pine standing out in a nice way

The beer pours out a slightly hazy dark golden orange color, with 1 finger of white head------------- the aromas are of peach candy, grapefruit and coconut------------- the flavors are of peach, grapefruit and lime with lesser pineapple, coconut and pine, the beer has a thin mouthfeel with a light bitterness on the finish---------------- overall this beer was exceptional, it had everything I want in a session ipa, it was super dry with lots of hoppy flavors and the peach came through very well

Honestly not as bad as I expected, however the peach is more dominant than i would prefer. Decent alternative to mango even keel if youre looking for one

Taster at PreFunk. Pale, hazy golden, small skin of head. Fruity aroma, peach skins. Taste too is mostly fruity, some bitterness, combo of peel and hops. Interesting, but not my style.

When we are born, we cry that we are come to this great stage of fools, a corpus acceptus, a can of beer. Uinta unlike the moth or chipmunk, held in reference to the brewery, no jorum of skee, no shunning of youthful passions shall transgress. One could describe the rheological mouthfeel of Uinta Piggy Back Peach IPA as scintillatingly phosphorescent, with a body - dare I say - impregnated...almost plethoric. A snippet pastoral on the nose, yield ones hypotheses and wield ones olfactory acuity for this beer is worthy of empirical forbearance. Peach, I feel it, I smell, I accept it. Sterling notes of peach, recants nostalgia but remains recherche by proxy. The initial bouquet trots sprightly across the palate, preliminary to the trail unfolding before you and the susceptibility to a mellow yet harmonious cornucopia. A cacophony of satisfaction is unveiled in the aftertaste. The ardor of splendor rids all rancor.
