Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a Duvel Acre tulip.

A- pours a hazy light copper/gold with a 2-3 finger white foamy head. Slowly fades and leaves a ring and blotches on the glass.

S- Aromas of grass and honey sweetness, citrus, biscuit and light spices.

T- Sweet honey biscuit and mild caramel, minimal fruit and banana with spice. Very light on hops.

M- Well carbonated with light mouth feel. Refreshing to quaff.

O- A nice twist on a Belgian Pale Ale that is refreshing to drink.

cold rainy (with snow to come) April night. Seems a proper time for a big enough beer to handle the chill.
Nice mixed fruit in the noise with balance of pale malt graininess. Touch of yeasty spice. Complex and nice.
Medium sized amply dense white head. Semi-cloudy gold.
Again with a nice fruitiness. A softer dryness for style. Mild yeast flavor with subdued phenols and minimal spice. Mild pale grains. Some drinks bring out a clear hop flavor. A pleasing sweetness runs through the drink very nicely.
Soft feel enhanced by the carbonation.
A good drinking pale ale/tripel. Americanized somewhat, but enjoyable. Let's have one more.

Appearance: Same clarity as Blue Moon, but it's a shade or two lighter in color. Very little foam, but a bit of lacing.

Smell: Sweet citrus and malt. Almost a bit of a fruit gummy flavor as well in the background.

Taste/Mouthfeel: Hints of orange with some banana and clove present. This also has the yeasty character of a good Belgian, but the mouthfeel doesn't quite hold up despite how clean it is. There is quite clearly some alcoholic bite present.

Overall Drinkability: Not quite Blue Moon on steroids. More like Blue Moon on vitamin B12. Still it's an improvement over the former.

A - Clear, bubbly copper color with a one-finger, off-white head of foam. It left thin rings of lace on the glass.

S - It smelled fruity and yeasty.

T - It tasted fruity with sweet caramel and a yeasty/spicy bite.

M - It was crisp, sharp and smooth. A medium bodied ale with a dry finish.

O - This is a good Belgian Ale. Nice one from Furthermore.

A- 12oz into a pint glass, Nice orange color with a thin white head. Good clarity.

S-Spicey, hints of coriander, light citrus, slightly toast malt

T-Sweet and citrusy up front with a smooth bitterness and a hint of Belgian spicyness in the finish

M- Medium bodied, carbonation is low for a Belgian style beer.

O-Very sessionable for the ABV goes down more like a pale ale than a 7% beer

Pours a nice, light head that fizzes loudly, then has good retention with hop resin. Orange and a touch of bubblegum in the nose. Dark golden color. Starts off with a touch of that bubblegum character, but then moves into hop bitterness, a flash of booze, and then back to a pine hop flavor (I taste a touch of pine behind it all). The finish is a nice grassy hop with sweet malt and bubblegum.

The first time I was trying this, I didn't expect the hoppiness, and I really disliked it. Going into this, expecting the hops, it's not too bad. I'm not a huge fan of the bubblegum flavor mixed with bitter hops, though...

Mixing in the sediment from the bottom: Aroma is much more subdued. Color becomes straw. Hop flavor becomes much more intense; bubblegum flavor is much reduced. Overall, the sediment smoothes it out quite nicely, I'd bump it up a few points if you haze it up.
