What can I say that others have not; this place has an awesome selection of usually hard to find beers in the Tri-State area. For instance I was able to find a bottle of Abbaye De Saint Bon-Chien Grand Cru (Aged In Bourbon Barrels) just this past Saturday. The prices are in line with, if not cheaper than, anywhere else that I've gone to.
As much as I like OakTree in NJ I think this may be closer for us North Jersey BA's , I'll be hitting this place up on my weekly trips to Captain Lawrence.
And the beer Mgr Chris just rocks... Hey Chris...thanks for the extra!!

It's a supermarket, so there is only so much you can say about atmosphere and service and all that. The beer selection is probably one of the best I've seen in a supermarket, though. And they fill growlers! How awesome is that?
Most of the beers are found in the rear of the store, but you'll also find six packs scattered through out, at the end of the aisles.
Good selection of American-made beers.

Short and sweet- My go to spot for beer. 15 minutes from my house and the beer selection is AWESOME! The beer guy there(I forget his name) is really nice and knows his stuff. I pillage this place whenever I can. Fyi, if you don't see what you want, the beer guy there can special order it for you...NOW THAT'S SERVICE! They also have a great food selection and good local coffee. If you are ever in the Ardsley are and are in search of great brews, this is hands down the only place you need to go to. You will not be let down, take my word for it. One last thing, this place is very close to Captain Lawrence Brewery, so hit up CL and swing on by Decicco's Market after. I'm surrounded by great beer spots!

DeCicco's is a supermarket first and foremost with a great selection of beer. Not a beer store. A few taps in the back but nobody was there to assist and I was not there to drink or fill a growler so I cannot speak for the draught quality.
Good selection of local NY beers from Coney Island, Captain Lawrence, Southern Tier. Folks working there seemed friendly, not sure if they are well informed. Nobody approached me while I stared at the selection for about fifteen minutes. I prefer a customer service where I am not approached but for those who prefer proactive employees this isn't the place. Overall a worthy 30 minute drive for me but not something I would go too far out the way for.

I was at a Captain Lawrence tasting (seriously, great place, there's a reason it's impossible to find parking there on Saturdays, $2 for a sample glass you can bring back again and again for 2 free samples of the ~7 beers they have on tap makes it not only the sole craft brewery in the area but also the cheapest place to drink around), and one of the other guests there mentioned this place to me.
I made it to DeCicco's, roughly 15 minutes from Captain Lawrence's new location, and... damn.
Certainly not the best selection I've ever seen, but for a small supermarket of this size, it is a great selection. Also, beyond the quantity of what's offered, what they do have in stock is quite good, with no "blah" offerings, nothing you can find at the corner 7-Eleven, etc. Clearly a very carefully curated (yes, that is the appropriate term for this) selection.
I'm not from the area (made a field trip to CL and here on a business trip, woohoo), but the sour selection especially was the absolute best I've ever seen, better than, say, the Total Wine chain on the East Coast, which carries 800 beers by the bottle. Plenty of guezes, lambics, and saisons, and at least 2 or 3 Berliner Weisses- first time I've ever seen this style at retail, and probably one of the hardest styles of beer to find. Prices (again, I'm not from the area) seem reasonable on sour beers; the $4 they want for a 12oz bottle of sour beer is as good as it gets where I am from.
Ten growler taps with a variety of less common craft beer (no Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, for example). The guy working the beer area late on a weekday evening was quite good and seemed to know his beer fairly well. He mentioned that DeCicco's is in the process of getting a counter-pressure filling system for its growler fills, which will be great (first I've heard of a place using a system like that for growler fills, can't wait). Management was clearly not trying to slave drive him too much as far as work, as he was happy to chat away on a quiet night, really good guy. There is a sign behind the deli counter that reads, "The customer is not interrupting your work. The customer is the reason you are here," and it's clear that management believes it.
You can order wraps and sandwiches in the deli, and there are olive, salad, and hot food bars. They have a seating area upstairs. The wraps are dellicious, and they are very generous with the meat; I bet there was at least 1/4 lb (~$2+ worth) of Boar's Head meat in my $5.49 wrap. Hint: It may not be legal, but if you are discreet about it, you could probably get a sandwich and a cold bottle of beer, then consume both upstairs if you brought a glass (e.g., your Capt. Lawrence tasting glass).
Apparently the family that owns this independent mini-chain, the DeCicco's is very good friends with both Capt. Lawrence brewery and Lazy Boy Saloon, both of which are well worth hitting if you're in the area.

So this was the First DeCicco's I have been too and routinely go during my lunch breaks.
The selection is fantastic! They really have a little bit of everything...they are constantly putting new brews out and there are great sales from time to time.
They have rotating taps for growler fills. No sit down bar like the Brewster DeCiccos, but they usually have a nice selection of taps. They also do a tap takeover usually once a month or so.
They recently started doing a small mix-a-six. Not all beers are game, just a wall of a select few. I have only been there once since I have seen it, so not sure of how much this selection is rotated.
The guy who works there knows a lot about beer and about the inventory; and he is always up to talk beer with someone. Im sure its more fun for him than pointing to the corona for the non BAs.
Its a bit cramped and you do feel like you are in the way when deciding what to get, but thats because the store is small and they have to fit hundreds of brews in a small space.
In general, I feel like the beer is ever so slightly over priced. Well, let me clarify...the beer you can get in Stop and Shop, like a Brooklyn or Magic Hat 6 pack is more expensive in DeCiccos...however, something like an Evil Twin Been Smoking Too Long cant be compared because nobody else even carries it in the area, so they can really charge whatever they want.
And the food is amazing...just grab some cheese and deli meat to go with the beer you choose.
If you are in the area, just stop by. You will find something you never had or heard of.

I visited here once when I was out in NYC, I was able to get here and back before my GPS died woo!
Anyways I actually found this place on beermenus, and after looking at the list, I had to give this place a try. The beer was way in the back wall. Most of it was in the cooler; but there were some shelves to the right side and above the cooler that had some offerings as well.
The usual NY offerings are there(ST, Capt. Lawrence, Blue Point, Sixpoint etc), some Pretty Things offerings. A lot of The Bruery, Alesmith, the entire Nogne O Horizon Series, Good number of Cigar City 750s, lots of Mikkeller, some Firestone Walker, a lot of Belgian offerings(De Struse, Drie Fonteinen, Fantome, Rodenbach, etc). Pretty much anything else that is distributed to NYC is probably here as well.
The staff was all around pretty good, one of the guys went upstairs and got me some Bruery Coton. Also snagged the last Blushing Monk that was there(it was released after I left for NYC). World Wide Stout was there as well in limited amounts. They did have Parabola and 14 from FW, but some guy and his friend emptied their bank accounts in the store and left with them :(.
The quality is good, but it does appear that some of the offerings there might be sitting for an extended period of time, due to the large volume of offerings. The prices were overall acceptable for the area, and are far better than the ones in Manhattan.
Overall, this is an outstanding establishment, and I wish I lived closer to it. I will be back if I am ever in NYC with a vehicle again.

Its definitely a most go store. Especially if your going to Captain Lawrence since its 15 min away. It's technically a grocery store that has a excellent beer selection. The service is great (alex) knows his stuff and is always helpfull and willing to dig aroung for you. The selection is always changing with all the big brews NY can get. Rare, Parabola, Cuir, BB4D to name a few. The longer you spend the better chance you have of finding something special. They also have around ten taps for growler fills of always good and rotating beer. This is a great store that any beer geek should check out.
