Not impressed: very little head, no lacing, slight chill haze, very faint smell and taste of pumpkin or pumpkin pie spices. An ok ale with only a token amount of pumpkin. Some bitterness on the back end. Smeared canning date; appears to be Aug something ‘23. Consumed Sept 30.

Look: Poured from a pint can into a glass - golden pour with heavy foam and lacing toppling the front. Lacing left behind as foam dissapates.
Smell: Grains, holiday spices, cinnamon nutmeg.
Taste: Same as above but with more malts. Very nice!
Feel: Light to medium bodied.
Overall: nice sipping beer! Easy to drink and good to enjoy

16 oz can into a tulip
A: Cloudy, apricot-orange color, completely opaque. One inch of suds on an easy pour.
S. Buscuity, earthy, holiday spiced.
T: Toasted grains meet squash purée. Holiday spices play against a touch of hop bitterness. Some floral, grassy notes round the flavor profile.
M: Medium viscosity and carbonation.
Easy drinking pumpkin ale. Nothing special from the alchemists at Kern, but a nice festive beverage, especially for those who would like a change from their hop-forward lineup.

I find this beer to be unique. Like a Kardashian after their latest Botox injection, after taking a few sips of this beer, I am content. It’s not gonna hit you over the head like Kim’s VHS debut, and it won’t wow you like that one Jenner walking down the catwalk; but like the little one that no one really cares for, it’s actually pretty good.
I sit, I sip. I sip, I sit... and I like it!

2016 bottle had in late 2017.
Overall it seemed a bit faded and while the taste was good, there was no real pumpkin to the nose. Would not suggest aging this one and would stick with their IPA's.

22oz bottle poured into a goblet
A- pours a pale clear golden-yellow color with a small foamy white head that reduces to a thin film floating on top
S- smells of toasted grain, allspice and some earthy vegetal notes, pretty clean overall
T- vegetal notes follow the aroma up front with a hint of allspice kicking in. Undertones of clean toasted malt with a little bit of a grassy finish
M- medium body and carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel and a smooth finish, high drinkability
O- one of the more subtle pumpkin ales when it comes to spicing. Simple and straightforward, but enjoyable

A slightly hazy orange beer with an off white head that leaves very little lacing. The aroma is sweet pumpkin, spices and a yeasty crust like smell. The taste is the same with sweetness up front and a bitter finish that brings out the pumpkin spices and crust in the aftertaste. One really fine pumpkin beer.

After a 2 peak day hike this really hit the spot. Pumpkin sounded gimmicky but it was a solid beer with pumpkin as a complementary flavor. I probably couldnt have 2 of these in a row but i will probably start with this for the season.
