Another awesome west coast IPA from an awesome guy-- Sideswipe. John, you and I will have a pint or two of Younger someday (hopefully sooner than later!)

This is a great looking IPA-- A glowing apricot color. Not gold, not copper-- somewhere right in the beautiful middle. Nice nearly white head that rose 2 fluffy fingers. Nice retention, decent lacing.

The smell is nice. Good sweet malts and a citrus and fresh flowers. Very nice grapefruit and floral notes translate on the taste. Good sweet malt base that keeps the beer grounded, the hops do reach great heights, but they don't quite soar. The beer has a an excellent feeling of balance. Good bitterness that blends with the flavor.

The body was right on. Just shy of medium with plenty of carbonation. Just a great IPA. I would be happy to stock this in my fridge anytime-- I actually wish it were in 12 oz bottles, which would be my only complaint.

This is honestly a beer that lives up to it's name.
