Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a dark coppery red amber with a fine one finger off hwite head with good retention and great lacing. Aroma of spicy piney, citrus hops, pineapple, citrus and caramel malt, tempting. Flavor follows, but an excellent balance of sweet malt, piney, mildly citrus hops, and nice complementary fruit juice. Finishes with resiny, herbal piney hops and a hint of rye sourness. Nice medium creamy body. This is one excellent red ale, and perhaps my favorite so far. Really well balanced and well integrated flavors, with a great fresh herbal finish. Well done, I'm in heaven. I really hope they brew this again.

Bottled in 2013, bought March 2014 in Sweden and stored in my beercellar for almost two years.
ABV: 8.5% - Best before September 2014.
This is a dark, red, hazy beer with a two finger high, fluffy, beige-brown head that leaves a lot of lacing. A lot of sediment floating around.
Nose: Caramel malt, dried fruit, ripe apples, floral notes, vanilla, resin, apricot, red berries and yes! Still a lot of hops in the nose after more than two years!
As the beer warms up it explodes of hops - Really nice!
Taste: Almost creamy taste. A slight bitterness at the end. Dried fruit, plum, grapefruit, orange, pine, resin, caramel malt, pink grapefruit and grass. A lot of hops in the taste.
Mouthfeel: Thick texture. Medium carbonation. Soft and creamy. Dry and bitter ending. A "chewy" feeling, like taking a big bite of a great, tasty, fruit!
As you can see I really like this brew! It has matured very good and I just hope I'll still have a few bottles of this #95 - 2013 deep down in my cellar...
