Looks the requisite Sierra Nevada part, it is a rich gold and amber colored liquid, with almost 3/4" of white head at the top of it.

Good savory and spicy woody and strong pine notes in the aroma. More of both in the taste. Citrus accompanies the pine in the flavor. This really is similar to torpedo, but it has more of a wood and pine thing going for it with the 100% crystal hops. The strange thing was, the spice of the magnum hop was still here, so I dunno, maybe crystal hops are really close to what magnum, simcoe and citrus do, because this one was great that it was like torpedo, but also good, for the slight difference from torpedo (not as abrasive without the simcoe I think, a little sweeter).

Definitely worth checking out.

The server at Sierra Nevada said this is the base beer for Torpedo with a single estate grown hop, Crystal.

Pours a bright gold color with a nice white head.

Aromas are resiny, with some citrus, earthiness, and pine. Certainly similar to Torpedo, but a bit different.

Taste is sweet up front, notes of hard candies, and sugary oranges. Finish has a nice bite of hop bitterness that cuts the sweetness nicely. Notes of grapefruit, earthiness, pine, and resin. It is a definitely a sweeter take on Torpedo, but it's balanced well with the hops.

Mouthfeel is very good. Smooth, full, with spot on carbonation.

Overall, another winner from Sierra Nevada. Very nice spin on Torpedo.
