Reviewed after a hard days work at the Gingerman NYC, served out of a snifter glass.

Appearance: 1 finger off white creme head leaving great lacing, the color MOHAGUNDY!! Great color.

Smell: very interesting, my inital gut feeling is IPA the fresh hops I get make this enjoyable but out from no where I get a grainy nose similar to one I would get from a brown ale.

Taste: opens with grassy hops as the hop bitterness comes in the middleM to my dismay the middle to end isn't impressive at all, this finished rather bland and bitter with a very very mild malt profile which never really shines leaving a mild mild malt and bitter hop aftertaste.

Mouthfeel: light to medium bodied at most with medium carbonation, semi smooth and dry.

Drinkability: I don't really know about this one. I like the nose and the open but the finish is dissapointing. I would have this again if drink were on someone else. I recommend this to someone who seeks a great open and nose but doesn't mind a mediocre finish. Overall great collabo but this needs some tweaking.

On a side note I wanted to have the Life and Limb but they had kicked the keg, I asked which he thought was better, he said this was... I'd beg to differ. Ha worth the try for this style.

This is a rather pedestrian beer from Sierra Nevada. This version, available at Lord Hobo in Cambridge, seems to be a collaboration with Dogfish and has an abv of 10.2%!

Deep amber color and very clear. Provides a spotty blanket of lace.

The smell is exceptionally mild, particularly from either of these brewers. With some searching, I think I might have found a touch of hop.

There's an interesting juniper berry flavor on the initial taste. Very dry finish that leaves nearly no aftertaste. The body is quite watery.
