On tap at the brewpub. Soured Brett and oaky barrels in the nose. Smells like a Lost Abbey or RR sour. Puckering rye grain doesn't impart too much bitterness; sweetness from the sherry cask balances nicely. Slightly buttery finish.
Surprisingly delicious, considering my last experience with CBC's sours. Gonna grab another pour.

First had: on tap at CBC
Labeled as a"100% Brett, sherry barrel fermented sour grisette." Possibly my favorite beer sampled at the brewpub.
Slightly hazy pour, copper in color, with a thin foamy head that sank to a ringlet and left a bit of lacing on the glass. Classic Brett profile in the nose, essence of stone fruit, with some toasted grains in the background. A little pucker in the taste up front, fresh fruit, toasted rye, and a mild drying woodiness. Very tasty. Medium body, and dangerously drinkable at 4%ABV.
