This one deserves a review.
This was was also a top 5 best beers at the BBF for me. Unlike perhaps others, I could drink this all day. It was one of the beers constantly being praised at the fest.
Pours a hazy light gold honey with a thin white head. Nice looking
Nose was nicely acidic but with fruti, honey and a nice sweet character. There was a nice assertive note of honey in the nose.
Mouthfeel was rich and full but fresh and appealing. Well balanced and you really wanted more.
Flavor profile was complex and integrated sweet, tart, fruity, acidic and yet with undertones of the barrel, the undertones being a "honey wood" more than anything else.
Finish was clean, acidic, fresh and full of honey character. I loved this beer.

This beer poured out as a murky looking brownish yellow color with a very little head on it. The smell of the beer is super funky, lots of sour aromas here. The taste of the beer is pretty nuts, The tartness of this brew is very acidic, it really made me pucker up for a few seconds. The other flavors are kind of muted because of how sour this is. The mouthfeel is thick, it wasn't like most lambics in that sense. Overall, definitely an impressive sour beer to me. I wouldn't ever want a whole bottle of this, but a sample was just enough for me.
