First time brewing a dubble which is a bit of surprise concidering CBC is known for the quality Belgian styles!

Dark amber/brown in color poured into a tulip glass supports a 2" high tan colored head with nice lace as it dissipates slow.

There's rootbeer maltiness in the aroma, semi-sweet with a hint of caramel, smokey dark belgian candy is obvious, spice rack nd green peppers.

A classic Dubble flavor, dark candy-sweet malts upfront, slight smoke, dark wheat, and an herbal-spice balance that is created from another herb and NOT hops! A nice twist on a classic style with a root beer and herbal finish that goes a long way.

Mighty fine!
