I normally don't seek out pilsners, because it seems like most that I try are substandard, flavorless affairs. They're easy to drink because they're lacking in flavor. I'm rarely disappointed by the CBC so I wanted to give theirs a try.
Golden Slumbers, like its name, pours a lightly cloudy, golden color. It's topped by a compact, bright white head that fades to a persistent film leaving patches of lace. Like most pils, the aroma is fairly subtle with grassy and herbal hop notes, as well as a bit of peppery hops.
Clean, malt flavors upfront, with only a mild sweetness running throughout the beer. Peppery and herbal flavors appear in the center with an accompanying hop bitterness in the finish. Clean, simple, but flavorful. Light-bodied and vigorously carbonated with a crisp, mildly dry finish.
This is what I like in a pils, a nice amount of flavor with a nice hop presence in the finish.

On tap at the brew pub back in March.
A: Nice golden color with a fairly-large white head.
S: Pale malts and grains, with a slight sweetness.
T: Very clean. "Good pilsner taste." Slightly sweet.
M: Clean and crisp. Light body.
D: Excellent stuff. Looking forward to getting back to Boston to try more of CBC's stuff.

I'm always excited to see a Lager or Pilsner on-tap in a brewery, there simply isn't enough small Breweries that bother. big props to CBC for that!
This one is a clear golden amber, plenty of activity and a healthy pure-white head with great retention.
The nose has herbal green veggies, slight black pepper and gentle yeast in the back.
Oh, yeah...clean and crispy...even zippy feel, thin, refreshing malt, hearty herbal yeast and the balance seems perfect. This one leans on the very herbal, and musty side, reminds me very much of the victory Prima Pils, perhaps more gentle and more well-balanced though. The complexity of flavor is really high for the style!!
Drink up!
