This has a Pilsner base and is brewed with the addition of New York State Concord grapes. It is fruity, tart & dry, with a dark purple color & huge grape aroma.

16oz can. Cranberry colored pour, spotty head. Light aroma of grape juice. Taste is sweet with more grape presence. Some jelly like flavors. Toasty malts buried underneath the fruit.

Canned 2021/07/22
Pours a large frothy foamy almost 2 finger slight purplish head with moderate retention, fair lacing, hazy ruby red color
Nose lots of dark reddish fruit, grape skin, cranberry, sweetened raisin fig, brown sugar caramel notes, a bit of a ruby port wine, almost no malt or beer base
Taste is very sweet, candy brown sugar, candi sugar, caramelized sugar, etc, wow sweet, candied raisin, toffee covered prune date, lots of sweet port wine, ruby sweet port no oxidation, a hint of butterscotch even, a little caramel sweet malt, biscuity toffee, no bitterness, a little Concord Manischewitz wine on the back end
Mouth is thicker syrupy like, lighter carb, hint of alcohol
Overall this was a mess, like drinking Manischewitz wine, super super sweet, yes there is Concord grape juice but basically no beer, and almost undrinkable

16 oz can split with my wife. The appearance is pretty, but it is light purple not dark. If you're going to say it's dark purple, it ought to be dark purple. Aroma is Concord grapes with pilsner malt. Taste is similar but could use a little more grape flavor. Overall it's a tasty grape ale.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a clear pale purple color with a small off-white head. The aroma is slightly acidic with grapes. The taste follows the nose. A decent beer.

Appearance: red grape color. Tried to get a head on it. Didn't happen.
Aroma: red wine like characteristics on the nose. Grapes. Natural grape, too, not that artificial stuff.
Taste: A cross between grape soda and red wine. Carbonation is like a soda. Little bit of booze coming through.
Feel: light, fizzy.
Overall: I'm not the biggest fan of these types of beers. Even less of a fan of wine. This has a lot of wine characteristics. Booze, grapes, sweet yet dry. Not something I would buy. This was gifted to me with a bunch of New York beers.
