A - Pours an orange, semi-translucent body. Has a one finger head that apparently has staying power.

S - The nose could almost be considered tart/sour. I'm not complaining. Aside from that, you get a good helping of lite sweet peaches and the pinot noir barrels come through perfectly as well.

T - Sweet at first from the peaches. Then it's like the pinot noir barrels take over. It turns to a white grape flavor and has a tart finish.

M - It's light bodied, but highly carbed. I'll say the carb probably muddled the flavors in the taste for me.

O - Definite potential. Would have been better if not for the carb. But, it could stand up to a lot of bretty saisons.

Bottle opened on 4.15.13

A - Pours a cloudy dark orange with a huge soappy-foamy white head with great retention and lacing.

S - Peaches, oak and some wine.

T - Dry, earthy funk, some subtle peach and wine barrel.

D - Good carbonation and light body. Lots of funk and earthiness. I liked it.

The best attributes of this beer are the appearance and feel, which isn't to say that the others aren't good. This beer looks great and feels great. That's a good start.

While the flavor barely resembles anything peach, it is somewhat fruity. Maybe white, unripe peach, which isn't bad at all. Some green apple dances around. A bit bready with some yeasty spices of white pepper. Perhaps papaya skin?

The feel is just about spot on. Fizzy, bubbly, lifting. Sharp and semi dry, semi sweet. Great with those sticky cheeses.

A - a little cloudy, really foamy in the head, a light copper color

S - peachy, light, some other fruit here, maybe mango

T - peach, white grape, Belgian yeast, ever so slightly tart

M - really quite effervescent, the tart offers some subtle puckering, pretty light overall

O - this is a really interesting take on a saison w the use of peaches, atleast new to me; it's balanced, subtle, and not at all overly sweet; expected a bit more peach flavor actually

a great great beer, better now than when it was fresh in the spring. it pours from the bottle a very pale yellow color, incredibly cloudy, with a tall white head with decent retention. the nose is really farmed out from the yeast, peppery and tart, bordering on sour. the peaches dont come through in the aroma so much, but there is a nice floral polleny vibe going. the flavor is sweet anf fruity from the peach up front, but its quickly taken over by a really puckey tartness that is mouthwatering and almost bretty sour. its really vibrant and long lasting, and works magically with the peaches. effervescent carbonation makes this feel like an authentic belgian saison, and the body stays light despite the sediment. each sip ends dry and tart, it makes me want to keep hammering this. well worth 12 bucks for a bomber, this is really unique and oddly addicting. whatever yeast was used here is a keeper, everyone i shared this with was more than pleased.

2012 Limited release. Saison Ale aged in Pinot Noir barrels with peaches. Maybe a hint of I ripe peaches but perhaps only because you think it should be there.

Pours clear orange amber with nice white head .

Nose is typical saison with some light bananas, hints of fruit and hints of fresh grass . Pleasant and inviting; not complex.

Mouthfeel is rich and fresh. Medium bodied with very nice balance. Perhaps a bit too carbonated on initial pour. Otherwise nice.

Nice flavor profile. Saison fruit grassy with crisp bright tones. A light green pepper and hints of celery in the finish. Very drinkable and food friendly.

Finish is a nice light green celery/pepper/light salt with a hint of sweet pine bitter.
