A: Clear, liquid gold. Head was 1-finger of creamy white foam, with good retention and fair lacing.

S: Tart fruit. Pie spice. Fresh baked bread. A hint of floral hops.

T: Not very potent in any dimension. Almost no malt sweetness. The pumpkin flesh is definitely present along side the breadiness. Pumpkin pie spice is weak, but if it were any stronger it would overpower the other mild flavors. Hops citrus and lingering bitterness are present in the finish, but are mild-mannered.

M: Moist, with low carbonation. The finish borders on dry.

O: Not at all objectionable, but not at all memorable, either. Rather innocuous all around. If I had to classify it, I'd call it a pumpkin pilsner rather than an ale due to its light, refreshing nature. I wouldn't pay for another, but I wouldn't turn a free one down, either.
