A chic, though small scaled model of the Yard House. A late night bar, with several but nowhere near the majority of the taps available at the Yard House. Still the metal feel. Difference is more of sharing a strip mall feeling, windows you can see patrons through. No taps I did not find elsewhere. Maybe its competitive in the food area, or service of food aspect. Music was on the loud side, the bar was smaller than the other places and felt I was in a somewhat fish bowl. Prices reasonable as they are throughout Phoenix.

Very interesting hi-end burger/sandwich/salad place tucked into a strip mall. Trendy décor with blue "neon-ish" lit tables and fries served in mini chrome shopping carts. Populated heavily with the young, trendy, young and trendy, and a smattering of other folk. Obviously the place to eat and "be seen". The food is good though. I didn't have a burger (heard they are good) but I did have a very good chicken sandwich on panini bread. A friend of mine had the hotdog and beaver mustard. Beaver mustard? I had a pint of Moose Drool. The beer list is extensive (40ish) and well organized. However, I would have to agree with earlier reviewers, the beers are all beers common to the west coast. Nothing wrong with that but if you are looking for obscure beers, this isn't your place. I do think it's worth the trip for the food. The beer list does have good beers on it. Looking back, I think their Chimay would have been better with that Chicken Panini. Oh! Do go to the gelato place close by for desert! Nice finish!

Stopped in here on a Monday for lunch. Grabbed a place on the patio. Server was there immediately. Inside was a small restaraunt almost like a diner setup and the outside patio was small. I thought the place would have been uch larger but no big deal. Selection was Rogue, Four Peaks, Pagago, North Coast and pretty varied slection but nothing that really stuck out. Out of the 40 or so beers I had almost all of them. I did grab a Orange Blossom and a Delux burger. Beer was ok and the bruger was good bit not great like may had boasted. Service was excellent and prompt. Atmosphere was not the beer crowd but a lunch business crowd. Overall a good place.

Accuse me of being an asshole right now. I don't care.

Delux is in a strip mall, which is the most down to earth thing about it. And I love the Gelato Spot, in the same parking lot, and Sportsman's which is kitty corner. The place itself is cramped and small, with a lot of "attractive and rich" people filling it up. The bar area is nice, very clean; the middle of the room is this weird, long table that's lit from below with a neon blue. Seems odd in the setting.

The quality of the beers is the main beef for me: there might be 40 taps as claimed and as listed here on BA. If you had asked me blindly, an hour ago, I would have guessed 20. There just isn't that much variability though: while all of them are craft or local, the styles range from hopless golden to hopless brown. The last time I was there, I got a Rogue Hazelnut, which is an okay brew that I've rated pretty well, but not something I would normally get on draft.

I'm not going to hate on the service. I've found the waitresses (they're usually pretty females) to be attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, if not necessarily the beers themselves. Service is quick, and water is brought promptly when asked (that's my litmus test).

The food is good, but costs plenty. Fries are about $5 for a small cart, burgers around $10, beers are over-priced for their quality. That's okay because they're bringing craft beer and what not to the dining scene, but with the amount of resources they're expending to have this many kegs, cleaning so many lines, etc. it would be nice to have some variety.

Bottom line is that I live about ten minutes from there, and about ten minutes from Papago Brewing. I'm in the Biltmore area far more frequently than Scottsdale, and there's nothing else that brings me to the Scottsdale road area. Yet I've been to Papago probably 100 times since I went to Delux for the first time, and I only returned there once.

I was on my honeymoon this past week in Phoenix and it just so happened i was staying at the Arizona Biltmore around the corner from Delux..so me and the wife checked it out the night we got in.

We arrived a little after 5pm and there were only a few people in the place..no more than 30 minutes later it was packed inside and outside and there was a line to get a table. good thing we had bar seats! We both absolutely loved the decor of the place, but the food and beer were even better. It does get a little tight because it isnt too spacious but who cares? When you walk in the bar is off to the right and open seating to the left. there is also a patio with some tables outside.

I enjoyed the following:
New Belgium Springboard
Four Peaks Kolsh
Pyramid Apricot Weizen
Lost Coast Great White
Big Sky Moose Drool
Trumer Pils
Alaskan Amber
my wife went with a Four Peaks Kilt Lifter, Pyramid Apricot, New Belgium Mothership Wit.

The food was great our fries came in little miniature shopping carts. I must say i am glad i have a wife who enjoys going to beer bars as much as i do and i'm glad she asked to go back to delux one more time before we had to head back to jersey. if your in the area check it out and if you live in the area i am jealous.

I visited this place during a business trip. This place is tucked away in a strip mall off of Camelback Rd. (main drag). This place has a bar, but acts more like a place to eat, rather then a place to drink. The place has a trendy look to it and seems out of place for the strip mall. However, I found the atmosphere fun and interesting. For a place that serves burgers ($9) they go over board on using big white plates. However, I didn't come for the burgers (which were good) or the trendy setting. I came for the close location and the beers. The place really knows it's beers. With the exception of Bud' "Bourbon barrel cask" all the beers were exceptional. I believe they had close to 40 taps of the finest local and global beers available. Anything from Young's double chocolate to Four Peaks Kolsch. If you are in the area and are on the companies tab, you should check this place out.

was on vacation in phoenix this past weekend and saw this place here on beerfly so i decided to check it out...wow, i thought i had landed in heaven...i believe the menu has 1 page dedicated to food and the rest of the menu is beer/liquor/wine, the beer section is 2 pages alone...what an amazing tap selection, got to try the DFH 60 minute which unless i were to trade for would never see here in vegas...my gf was also able to enjoy some lindemanns framboise which she really enjoys...

the burgers were amazing, wonderful tasting meat...the fries and their aoli dipping sauce was absolutely amazing...everything is a la carte on the menu so it can get a little pricey...we got 2 burgers, split a full basket of fries (they actually come out in a mini shopping cart) and between us had 4 beers and i believe the bill was only 50.00 or so, so not too bad at all...

wonderful atmosphere and our waiter was awesome, service was excellent...i definitely recommend it if you are in the area, i wish they would bring one of these to vegas!

Don't let the slight negativity of this commentary fool you. This is among the better places to go for a pint in Phoenix. But I think a place like this could have been so much more...

First the facts: Good burgers and fries, good beer, good selection of beers, the beers turn over fairly quickly so I've only once had a beer that seemed a bit off. Somewhere around 40 taps I think. Terrible wine and liquor selection, stick to the beer.

I've been here several times, overall I like it. One thing that used to really bug me is that the beer menu was always horribly misspelled. It is much better now. Something that still bugs me is that they are invariably "just fresh out" of the first 3 beers I order. I've even been there once when they were out of the first two things the server suggested. Needless to say, many things about this place really bug me, enough that I won't be back for a while, eventually I'll be back again.

I went here the other night for dinner when in Phoenix for business. Going on a Friday night by yourself is not the best idea for this place but I had a great time none the less. There was a big group f folks waiting outside and I ended up waiting about 45 minutes for a table. Once I got a table, I was amongst the 2 person tables that are pretty tight together as there were no bar stools available. I had been eying up there draft list for awhile online and in the menu while waiting outside and I was not disappointed, other than the fact that Alesmith Horny Devil wasn't on tap at the time. I started out with a Kona Fire Rock Pale Ale which hit the spot. For dinner I ordered the mixed fries that include regular french fries and sweet potatoe fries. Both were excellent, not too greasy and nice and strong, no sagging fries here. They bring them out like an appetizer so by the time my burger came, I had filled up a bit. I ordered their Delux burger as it looked like the only option once I read the description. Angus beer, fresh. Caramelized onions, maytag blue cheese and gruyere. It as damn good. Probably the best burger I can remember having anywhere. I washed it all down with a nice pint of Fat Tire. I felt a bit rushed out by the waitress but she was still very nice. I probably could have stayed for another brew or 2 but got my check and them too a 6 pack of New Belgian beers back to my hotel for a additional drinks.

If you are in Phoenix and looking for good food and beer, definitely check this place out. Kinda swanky inside but worth it.

This place is a must if you like good burgers and good beer, especially when its late. Has a sushi bar look and feel to it. Dark with blue lighting, yeah yeah whatever.

High quality is a good overall description of this place. Owners know what thier doing.

Good salads and burgers. Simple food menu and very extensive beer selection on draft. Enjoyable beer flights.

Ten dollar bugers and five dollar pints. Its in the biltmore area of phoenix so it is what it is. Good thing for them thier open late.
