A rather malty dunkel lager with some decent notes of caramel to it. It works quite well.

The head is high, compact and brown; it sinks slowly leaving lots of lacing. The clear liquid is red-brown (30 EBC).
The smell is malty. Caramel and some metal, medium bitterness. Milk chocolate and cream coffee. It is not very complex.
The taste is malty with hints of sweet wort. Notes of sweet bread loaf and some grassy-flowery notes. Clean plain flavours, reminding a bit of English brown ale. It is rather dry with some caramel. Medium to full body. The aftertaste is dry and clean with discreet notes of oak. Medium strong bitterness with notes of dried flowers and hay. Flowery clean finish with some sweetness.
The carbonation is fresh and quite strong; long lived large bubbles. Light-dry liquid.
A no-nonsense brown lager that will probably go well with the Easter dishes.
