In town for work and stopped by as it was a chain and hoped for the best.
I was not let down.
Boulder brewing, Boulevard, Flying Dog, Sam Smith, Left Hand, Empyrian, all the normal lambics, Tahooeys, etc etc.
Those are the noteables that I remember. There was no Rouge in stock when I was there, but there were empty spots on the racks.
I also noticed that all the beer was in a cooler. There was no warm beer available, which was nice.
Prices are a little on the high side, but not so much that it is a turn off. I got a 6er of Boulder Mojo IPA for 7.99. That is about what I pay in STL for a sixer of Two-hearted.
If you are wanting to try some local brews, they are always stashed at the end of the open air cooler in the corner. There are a couple locals and some micros in the walk-in cooler.

I must admit, I was very surprised to see this place in beerfly (evidently there is a BA in C-bus?). When this new Hy-Vee opened I was definitely excited and impressed by this place. The Wine & Spirits department is accessable through the store or via its own private entry. There is a staff member on hand to answer questions and scan your alcohol. Everytime I have been here (at least half a dozen now) the staff has been very friendly and helpful. Beer knowledge is a little limited among some, but the friendless of the staff has made up for it.
Upon entering the store from the private entrance the majority of the beer is in a coolor on the right hand (East side) and a large walk in cooler at the back (North side). There are some scattered displays throughout the shop. The beer selection, while it would be a little weak for some places even in Lincoln, is the best in the area IMO. I get the impression that with the opening of this new store the department manager has really tried to get some good beer in. My hat's off to him.
Some of the beers I have see here - Domestic: Goose Island, Sam Adams, Leinie's, Boulevarde, Pyramid, Flying Dog, Shiner (first time I have seen the Blonde and Hefe) and Rogue (Rogue in 6's and bombers). Imports: Samuel Smith, Pinkus, Paulaner, Young's, Chimay, Spaten, Black Sheep Brewery, Steinlager, Xingu, and about any Mexican I have seen available in the state. While many might scoff at this list; trust me for the area, its good.
The quality (I'm thinking freshness here) of the beer is top notch as well. I think this has to do with the fact the store is so new. This is predominately macro country, so it will be intersting to see if the same beer that is here now is still here in 6 months, and if the selection stays strong. I will definitely be a repeat customer when I am in town and needing some beer.
